Performing arts education. We offer weekly classes in acting, musical theatre and on camera film acting. We use a written process based curriculum in all of our classes and summer camps.

History

Established in 2012.

While we are new to Tucson, we have had our curriculum in use in states across the country through out the last fifteen years. We are proud to bring this masterful approach to performance arts education Arizona.

Meet the Business Owner

Sarah V.

Business Owner

Sarah Vanek (owner and Creative Director) has been a staple in the Tucson theatre community for the last 12 years. As a regular performer and resident choreographer for the Gaslight theatre, she has had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing comedic actors in southwest. Opening Act 1 Academy of Performing Arts has given her the chance to share the incredible training she got as a child under the tutelage of her mentor, Cheryl-​Ann Rossi.
