97.5 BOB FM

I had this station ²⁴⁄₇ on (in my workroom), my car and during business hours at my work. It’d been an energizing mix of pop music, maybe a little repetitive. Now it’s a mix of mostly hip hop that all sounds the same with very little pop.
I guess I’ll start pushing buttons or download my own mixes. It was really good while it lasted.

What on earth happened to my favorite radio station? Within the past week, they’ve changed to «All the hits,» and their rotation seems to include what 92.9 played before changing their format, plus a bit of KRQ for good measure.
The mix of music isn’t too bad, it still falls within what I like to listen to, but I’m *completely* baffled by their edit policy. Before the format change, they had some peculiar song edits, including one where they simply snipped 3 beats out of a song, rather than bleeping or silencing the lyrics, to eliminate the word «Bulls — .» But listening yesterday, they edited the song «Pumped Up Kicks» to eliminate the words «gun» and «bullet» in each line of the chorus. Quite confusing!
All in all, I’ll probably keep the station on my programmed buttons because I’m too lazy to hook up my MP3 player to the stereo, but I’ll probably be flipping stations a bit more frequently now.

OK so BOB FM plays a nice mix of music from the 80’s-00’s and it is on a preset dial in my car but the real reason I am Unilocaling them is their almost Free Fridays promotion. They still have a Just Frame it Certificate for $ 50 for only $ 15! You can only buy one but that is a very good discount.
There are some stipulations like you must use them in 6 months, you cannot use them for alcohol etc but it is sure worth it.
