Bobby is the man for vintage VW! We have a ’74 beetle and its our daily driver! Between my husbands constant reading up and Bobby’s expertise, it’s amazing. Prices are extremely affordable and turnaround seems more than fare. Recently had a gas line cleaning and tune up, done and ready to pick up on the 3^rd day!

I created a Unilocal account just to review this place. This is the best auto shop for your classic VW. I recently purchased a 1974 Sport Bug and wanted to get a ‘fresh start’ with this awesome car. My wife found Advanced Imports as a possible candidate to service my car. I took it there with a specific price range I could spend for the service. Bobby and crew are the most knowledgeable VW repair men I have ever met. It took them about 3 days to completely take care of everything the car needed and well within my specified price range. They did not try to get me to spend more than I wanted to and the work they performed on my car is AMAZING. The thing runs like a champ — smooth as silk. (before I took it to them it would barely run at all) In a nutshell — These guys are THE BEST! Take your VW anywhere else and you will be sorry. Five stars!

If you have an older classic VW, this is the place you need to have your car serviced. Bobby is VERY honest, won’t rip you off, and does great work!
I have a 67 VW Beetle. Bobby re-​built the engine, and has also done a few smaller repairs… I can’t say enough good things!
