Scott has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2003. He has been recognized in 2012 and 2013 by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star. He is also been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 40 Under 40 trial lawyer and is a member of the Multi-​Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association – Champion Level and sits on the Communications Committee of GTLA. In 2010, Scott set a record in Greenville County SC for the highest verdict or settlement amount ($ 4.5 million) in a wrongful death/​trucking case. Scott has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of legal topics.
