Awful Place, Started to stay at a Red Capet in Gastonia NC on 10 – 2. Looked at 2 rooms, both of which we old, unkept dirty carpet, dingy and stained linens and towels, smelled of smoke in a non smoking room, mold in bathroom. Refused to stay. Told NO Refund or room exchanges thou I had told the clerk not to run my credit card until I had looked at and approved the room. This is a property that should be Closed due to condition and business practices. Can not believe that Red Carpet would allow its name to be associated with such a property.
