Specialties
American food served in the vintage soda fountain drug store building on Main Street.
History meets delicious with hand pattied ½ lb. burgers and hand dipped malts and floats.
Top sellers include the all beef Sabrett hot dogs, which are «butterfly grilled» to perfection. and the pulled pork is featured on the Cubano sandwich, Pork Plate with sides, and the Big Porker BBQ sandwich with the roasted pepper house bbq sauce.
History
Established in 2005.
Established as an effort to save and revive the circa 1950s edifice, The Old Tucker Fountain began as a restoration /preservation effort by owner Mike Holcomb around the year 2000 when a former tenant robbed the interior of key fixtures such as the soda heads and milkshake spindles, and counter stools. Since it’s opening the Main Street district around it has undergone a renewal of it’s streetscape and community organizers regularly host street festivals, holiday events, classic car cruise-ins, and a weekly farmers market… all right outside the front door of the O.T.F.
