If you are wondering how it is possible to make fried chicken tenders, tater tots and fries taste like…, well nothing, come to this O’Charley’s and taste for yourself. Ore-Ida Tater Tots are a delicacy compared to these Cardboard O’Tots, which remind me of the 1980’s public school lunches in Savannah, GA. We had to wait 5 minutes at the door for a table so they could clean off 1 of the 10 or so available tables that were all still covered in old food and plates. It was a good 10 minutes before they bussed all those tables after we sat amongst them all. No pen with the bill. No butter with the bread. No straws with the drinks. This is actually been more entertaining than most Friday night evenings we usually have in Tucker. Enjoy!

I had the worst experience ever at this restaurant the server forgot our salad then took forever to bring us our check then I was charged for to tables and the only reason I found out was because I check my account The general manager James slappy or sloppy was no help I guess he wanted to be a host and not a general manger that day a customer shouldn’t have to sit and wait for a hour, for your error. I will never eat there again.

The service was horrible. We waited for over an hour to be asked about our order after having appetizers. The manager forgot to put in my husband’s drink order when he offered to do it. I hope that they fix the staff including the management.

Waited 45 min even though the had multiple tables open. Over heard they had 2 party’s in the back is why tables were not being filled. Finally got a table and waited 30 more minutes for a server even though people after us were served. The waiter said he didn’t know we were his table. Let’s see how the rest of the meal goes.

We went to this location last night to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, we left without eating there after sitting at our table for 20 minutes and not even having our drink order taken. A waiter came by and said he would be back shorty, but then came by several other times and never even spoke to us. It was so incredibly rude. Don’t waste your time going to this location.

The food is really great and is consistant. The service is aggravating. If you go for the Free Pie Wednesdays, don’t be in a rush, and pay cash, otherwise they ALWAYS take a long time to return with your credit card… very unnerving! Last Wednesday, arrival time: 6:30pm. We had simple orders, however, the server, Timmy, brought the salad WITH the entrée, causing my entrée to get cold. My mom’s steak and shrimp was delivered, minus the shrimp… we kept reminding the server who kept getting orders from tables seated AFTER us. He finally brought the shrimp out, AFTER my mom had completed her meal– at this point she didn’t want it anymore, it was time for dessert! Dessert took a long time to receive, despite the fact that we all ordered the French Silk Pie. Then, it seemed to take from 8pm to 8:30 to get the tickets, pay for the meal and finally leave. A 2 hour dinner service is not right for this type of establishment. Shouldn’t be this difficult. Current Health Score: 90

I wish I had checked the reviews here before going to this location. My experience at other O’Charley’s locations has always been wonderful, so I was expecting nothing less this evening. I should have known it was going to be a horrible experience from the initial phone call(s) to place my to-go order. Bare with me, this review may get lengthy as I took notes because I plan on contacting the general manager about my poor experience. –I initially called to place a to-go“order about 7:45PM. After following the prompts for the«carside to-go» option, the phone rang for about 1 – 2 minutes until I got a «this party is not available» message. –I called right back and followed the prompts to speak with the hostess(or whoever would answer the phone). Again the phone rang 1 – 2 minutes until the hostess picked up. Before I could say anything she said«please hold» and left me on hold for 5 minutes. –I called back(this was going to be my final attempt) and was ASKED if I could hold this time. I said no, since it had now taken me almost 10 minutes to place an order. Whoever took my order did apologize for the inconvenience. She repeated it back to me to ensure everything was correct and told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I asked if she needed my car description for the carside to-go and she said«no we don’t do that at night» and asked would that be a problem. I did specify before placing the order that I wanted carside to-go. It was 7:55PM when the call ended. –I arrived at the restaurant exactly 20 minutes later at 8:15PM. There was no one to greet me when I walked in(another bad sign) and I noticed several people sitting around looking pissed off(turns out they were waiting for their to-go orders). –I went up to the bar and waited for the bartender/waiter acknowledge me. He took several orders at the bar and at tables while completely ignoring my presence. After about 10 minutes the hostess emerged and asked if I needed something(duh). I gave her my order information and continued to wait while she went to check on it. She came back a few minutes later and said it would be right out. It was now 8:30PM and the bartender finally decided to come around and ask if I needed something. Mind you several people had sat down after my arrival and been waited on before me. –At 8:35PM a waitress comes out with everyone’s to-go orders. I looked at my receipt and noticed the order was completed at 8:14PM, yet I received it 20 minutes later. –After arriving home I noticed the food was cold, I was missing a salad, and the dessert did not have ice cream with it. None of this surprised me after my experience dealing with the staff at O’Charley’s. After taking one bite of the«fall off the bone» baby back ribs, I had to check my teeth to make sure they weren’t chipped from biting into that tough meat. At 9PM I called the restaurant again and asked to speak with a manager about my terrible experience. Once again I was told to hold. After 5 minutes I hung up and called back, this time asking for the general manager’s information. I am not only calling him, but I’m also calling the corporate headquarters. There is no excuse for horrible service I received tonight… I would have been better off going to McDonald’s.

I like this O’Charleys location. It’s always clean and the service is good. My daughter loves the bite sized shrimp, my wife the tilapia, and I the chicken fingers. We’ve had other items and they’re always good. These are just our usuals. The only thing I’ve been disappointed in here is the Nashville Hot Chicken. It just wasn’t close to being anything resembling true Nashville Hot Chicken. I had to add Tobasco sauce just to give it a kick. I will say it was delicious as just a chicken sandwich. Just wasn’t what I wanted it to be. But this is all just a quibble. We’ve never had a bad experience at this location and we’ll continue to patron it.

Five stars goes out for Lana ! Excellent waitress, I highly recommend having Lana as your waitress. The food isn’t so great but on top of that the waitress was splendid. If you ever come around to come to O’Charely, Lana B is there for you.

Thanks O’Charleys for giving back to the veteran community* My food came out cold though*=( Ordered the chicken pot pie bc I was told it’s prepared fresh in house. It possibly had potential but it came out cold. Also ordered a side of potatoes for the cub which was also cold So I’m home now and I’ve warmed My pot pie I took to geaux* It actually is pretty good. It’s better than mine of course but decent and worth ordering to geaux if it served on the chill side!

The absolute worst service ever!!! Wish I could give half a star. Bush our waiter with 5 years experience sucks. Came to dine with my family for my father’s birthday. We waited forever for each thing to come out when the restaurant was not at all busy. Terrible service, and the only reason I left a great tip is because I worked in the service industry. Someone needs retraining

I don’t usually go to chain restaurants, but my friend is a picky eater and he said he was able to find something on the online menu he could eat. :-/O’Charley’s it is. They close at 10pm during the week, but we arrived close to 9:30pm and didn’t receive any slack about it. Not that I was worried, but my friend was. There were actually plenty of folks there at the time and more came in after us. Apparently, this is a happening spot at night in Tucker. Service was quite slow this evening as our server was preoccupied with a larger party. To be honest, it was quite annoying. I don’t know how many times she told us she was going to bring us our bread. Shoot, we got our bread not long before we got our meal. She was also a bit slow to refill drinks. The bread was decent. Nothing like Texas Roadhouse though. Mmm, yum. I ordered the honey fried chicken. Got it with smashed potatoes and coleslaw. And since my friend didn’t want any sides, I took it upon myself to get hush puppies on his behalf. For me. :-) The smashed potatoes were not hot enough and weren’t that great. The coleslaw was decent. The hush puppies were horrible. Thank God I didn’t pay extra for them. The honey fried chicken was pretty good. Note that it is actually boneless chicken breast. I was expecting a real piece of bone-in chicken. I guess that’s too much to expect from O’Charley’s. I don’t typically eat in this side of town so I think I am safe from a return visit.

First time at O’Charleys and all I can say is the service you receive at any establishment can make or break you. I went in with my Dad, Wife, and sister to have dinner. We all ordered our drinks, I got a water, my dad got a Arnold Palmer and my sister and my wife got a strawberry lemonade. My Dad and I received our drinks first while they waited about 10 minutes. We also ordered and appetizer which was chili cheese nachos with fresh jalapeños, salsa and sour cream. Keep in mind these nachos were on the spicy side and they were still waiting on their drinks. For my dinner I decided on chicken Cajun pasta that also had peppers and onions in it. I also ordered a side of loaded bake potato soup that was really good. The pasta was good, but my ice water was empty the entire meal. If I wasn’t used to eating spicy foods there would have been a problem. The server decided to bring me a refill right before she brought me our check. My sister said her meal was good which was chicken tenders and fries. My dad ordered fish and chips and was unhappy about the size of the fish and my wife order a half rack of ribs with a loaded bake potato and asparagus. My meal was good besides the fact I had nothing to drink. After our server brought us our check we waited at least 20 minutes for her to return so my sister didn’t even bother asking for a to go box in fear of not seeing her again. UPDATE: I was contacted by management and the apologized for the service that I received and wanted to make it right assuring me this was not how they did business. We went back in today and had far better superior service them before and the food was also very good. I would like to thank O’Charleys for showing us what their establishment is all about!

Was told it would be a 15 – 20 minute wait. 30 minutes later we were seated. We then waited 20 mins for a waitress and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Had to get manager to get service. Prime rib was pathetic, fatty, plain piece of meat nothing like the picture in the menu. Front porch punch had no alcohol in it at all. Best part of meal was the rolls. Don’t waste your time eating here.

Always love my time here. If ur not on a date, definitely sit at bar and be served by John on weekends. He’s quicker and more attentive than most of the servers here. Try to Front Porch Punch, served in a Ball mason jar! The hot rolls are heaven! !

Our visit did not start off very good. This was my first time to r his location. Our waiter comes to the table and proceeds to tell us how its going to work… lol You know he is going to bring us rolls back and then takenour drink order… really? And our food order… does he not have that backwards? Oh well. I ask the manager for drinks and he stepped up and turned a potentially bad night into a good night… he checked on us and our waiter ended up be attentive, once he got our drinks and orders. Thank goodness. food was good, can’t complain about that. Might not be back to this local… might try Hudson Grill across the street.

We had a party of 10 that had a reservation on Veteran’s Day, 2014(a Tuesday), for 7 pm. When we arrived, there was a 35 minute wait for walk-in customers. After we sat, the waiter came by and took our drink orders, most ordered water & magaritas. I ordered an Irish Coffee with Jameson. A good twenty minutes later, he came back to take our food orders, but the drinks had not arrived. He came back with the waters 10 minutes after that, but no «drinks». It was about 8:30 — 8:45 that our food began arriving piecemeal at the table, and he explained they could only submit six tickets at a time to the kitchen. The salads/soups came first, and the entrees about 15 minutes later. My Irish Coffee arrived just after my entrée, 1.5 hours after arrival here. A few of our group ordered desserts, and this took another 25 minutes for them too arrive. At 9:30 while waiting on our checks, one of the group commented that it was like being held hostage, and yes, it was. The waiter, to his credit, was polite, but ultimately relied on unfulfilled promises. He promised rolls early on, they didn’t arrived until after the entrees — bad way to earn repeat business. As for the food, I had the chicken pot pie, which was honestly pretty good. The harvest chicken soup left a lot to be desired, it may very well be a straight from the can concoction with herbs added. The Irish Coffee was probably my biggest disappointment, plopped onto the table with odd-looking whipped cream particles swirling in the glass and a large dollop that mysteriously sat at the bottom of the glass mug, even after I stirred it. It tasted fine at first, but as I got to the bottom, there was something not right about it — perhaps the cream, I’m not really sure. So, it took a full 2.75 hours to get out, escape, rather, and I can say that I will not return. It’s been over ten years since I was there before, but this experience was a sufficient reminder to stick with the independent places in the Tucker area and leave this to those who are happy with it.

Let me start off by saying I didn’t have very high expectations before eating here. We made reservations a few days in advance for a rather large party. The manager was very accommodating and offered to stay open longer if we needed. When we arrived our party was seated quickly and placed at a large table. Our waitress, Ashley, introduced herself, told us about the specials, gave us several baskets of the famous rolls and took our drink orders. We started off with a few appetizers for the table: spinach dip and chips, fried pickles, appetizer samplers which were all very tasty! I initially got worried wondering how she was going to staff the table by herself but she did! I ordered the catfish dinner(along with 75% of our party) which came with 3 pieces of catfish, coleslaw, fries, and brown sugar hushpuppies. I swapped out the coleslaw and fries for alternate sides at no extra cost. The fish… brown sugar hushpuppies… Baabbbaayyy! I need the recipe! I forgot where I was for a moment, I knew I had to be eating at a small soul food seafood spot. I also got one of the drink specials $ 4.99 peach margaritas which was pretty good. Not too sweet… just enough kick. Ashley was courteous, responsive, and made sure that we were comfortable the entire time. She even gave me a slice of pie for my birthday. O’Charleys has made me a believer! I don’t know if on my next visit I can part with the catfish but I’ll try.
