We had the lunch special which includes coconut soup, spring role and an entrée for $ 7.95. The service was good and the portions were just right. I would recommend it.

Honestly the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. The service was okay but the food made me sick! Their food tasted like frozen store bought food that was put into a microwave and heated for 30 seconds. I decided to go here because it was closer to my house but I should’ve just went to the one I normally go to in Norcross. #sorrynotsorry

I love Mai Thai in Tucker Ga old Ingles Shopping center! Always fresh made for you not sitting around. They have the Best Tom Yum soup of any Thai place I have eaten at in the area. I also love there spring rolls and Basil fried rice go check them out plus you will be supporting one of our local restaurants! They are open 7 days a week.

Great food. We always order two mango sticky rice. One dining in and the second one to-go.

When we lived in Decatur, we went to this place at least once a week. Their curries are so delicious. They are really tasty and flavorful. Also, they give you SO much when you order takeout, so we hardly ever dine in. My favorite is the panang with chicken, husband always got the green curry with chicken. Seriously, these curries are good. The noodle and rice dishes are just average, hence the 4 stars.

Tasty Thai food. Pretty close to the real thing that I’ve had in Thailand. Prices are good and the service is fast for those that want a quick lunch break at work. It’s also nice and quiet, which is great for unwinding a bit.

Mai Thai is everything I could want in a neighborhood restaurant. The food tastes great. The ingredients are fresh, which means a lot in Thai cooking. The service was outstanding, and the waiter was very helpful. Overall we had a great experience and we will definitely go back. We started with appetizers. The calamari was good, and it was not overcooked, and the oil was fresh, not stale. When the waiter found out that one of us was vegetarian, he suggested the Thai spring rolls, but made with tofu. I had never had them like that before. They were yummy with great nutty-toasty garlic taste complementing the crunchy outside and great vegetables inside. We had curry puffs, which I had never had before. They were breaded, fried taro root mixed with curry and sugar. It was very good. We also had the fresh spring rolls, which were very tasty as well. The pepper vegetables with beef was great. We asked them to make it spicy but not ‘Thai hot’, and it was just right. Very good flavor and spiciness, but not scorching hot. The Spicy Tofu was good, and the sauce was a great complement to the vegetables and tofu as well. One other note — this place does not have any televisions(halleluiah!!) I really dislike televisions in a restaurant. It is awful. Food was great — service was great. We will be back.

The food was subpar. The seafood Thai basil came in a «hot pot» but the pot was cold. The food was obviously cooked and then thrown in last minute. The coconut soup was unflavorful and bland w no redeeming qualities. The tables were tacky and sticky while the menus had not been cleaned. The service was good and we had a large party so that’s why they get two stars instead of one.

Amazing! My boss and I just ate lunch here and the food was amazing. It’s quiet, and we loved the ambiance. Fresh and delicious. The green curry is the best around. A lovely, quiet lunch tucked away in Tucker! We will be back.

The staff took forever to come over and see what we wanted. When they managed to make their way over he asked us if we wanted something to drink. We were like we know what we want and placed all of our order. We tried to order the calamari but they we out(however in the seafood entrée we had there was calamari???) The coconut soup was average. My tofu dish was spicy and pretty good otherwise this would have been a one star rating. I would not recommend this place to others.

The service was slow and uninterested. The shrimp in my Tom Yum soup tasted old or as if they hadn’t been cleaned. The table was sticky. And it was hot and stuffy inside. If you’re looking for good Thai, I’d say look elsewhere.

I must say the food here is delicious. Service is exceptional. Interior is beautiful with soothing classical music playing. Check out the pic I uploaded. I’ve come back for to-go orders since I’ve discovered this place. The wait isn’t too long and the food is packed thoroughly. Items to try: –Pad Thai –Massaman Thai Curry(Muslim in origin): this curry is delicious with Thai brown rice. it has potatoes, onions and avocados with your choice of meat. I usually get chicken with it. It’s mouth-watering. The sweetness of the curry and the creaminess of the avocado really complement each other. — Tom Kha soup is pretty good without a meat. I’ve also had a Tom Kha soup with only mushrooms and tofu, which I prefer alot better. I will definitely be back to dine-in and try the Garlic Salmon I eyed on the menu!

Their food is very flavorful. I really enjoyed their vegetarian dishes — until now when I found a worm in my leftover dish from last night. I don’t know if there were others mixed in with the veggies and rice and I ate them. Lets hope not. It makes me feel better to think I didn’t. But once I saw the worm, that was it for me. Not good Mai Thai, not good. Just when I thought I had found a good Thai restaurant close to home. It may have been a fluke, but I’ve made my last trip to Mai Thai.

Great value and taste! The dinner price is like the lunch price for many other thai places. The décor is nice inside. Server is nice and our food was delivered to the table without much delay. My pad thai was hot and a good size portion. My boyfriend had the beef tender loins and finished his plate. If your eating an entrée with rice be sure to ask for brown rice. The only thing I did not like about this place is how sticky the table and chairs are. Other than that I would recommended Mai Thai. Its also very quiet and remote. Not a hot spot in the rundown ingles plaza but boyfriend and I had a nice time there and I would definitely revisit! Ps: we weren’t given the sushi menu but I would always stay away from sushi at a thai place.

Had some leftover pad-see-ew from here and it was really good, with plenty of chicken. Wife and daughter came here for lunch and said that it was not very crowded, which is a shame. This place is kind of hidden away, but the décor is nice and when I last ate in-house, the food was good. The lunch special is a steal(under 7 bucks for soup, egg-roll, nice portion of entrée). The prices here are also less than many places. I think we’ve found our go-to spot for good Thai.

This is great thai food! I am a Thai novice but hey if you didn’t grow up eating Thai then that is pretty much all of us. I have sampled many thai restaurants in the northeast perimeter area and I always come back here, the food has a much better flavor than other places that cost more. The vegetables are cooked very well here and even if it doesn’t boast of organic ingredients they taste very fresh. I am a big fan of thai curries and my girlfriend is a fan of the chicken and vegetable dishes, they will also spice the dishes up on request so you will get the right amount of heat that you’re craving. My new fav is the Curry puffs Enjoy
