Hi-Definition Landscape

I called Dennis from Hi-​Definition Landscape about giving an estimate for a commercial and residential property for a major clean up job and to maintain both properties. He was on time, very knowledgeable about lawn care and what i was to except from him and his crew. His crew did great work and so did Dennis. If i needed him to come on short notice he would. He always took my calls, emails and texts. I would recommend him and his crew to anyone that asked me about lawn care services. He is the best out there that I’ve seen so far. I would give him 10 stars if I could. He also speaks spanish fluently. He is a great guy! Dennis also finishes his job in a timely manner. He loves dogs to!

LIke others here, Dennis came out and spent a good deal of time looking over the property and we came up with a plan with specific items to complete. He said he would write it up and send it over to me with a price. Never heard from him, after prodding him several times, he texted me a list of items and a price, but no date. I finally got him on the phone and he said he would complete the job on Tuesday. I sent him a text midday Tuesday to see how it was going, no response. He never came. I call, I text, no response.
Time to move on.

I requested a quote and got a very timely response about setting up a time to come look at my property. The guy who came was friendly and spent a lot of time explaining things to us. However, he said we would receive a quote by the end of the week (that was weeks ago now) and we still haven’t received anything.

After many good experiences, we were shocked to have poor communication with Hi-​Def. They were reliable ans helpful in the past, but now requests for quotes take weeks or go unanswered. In fact, after sensing a referral Hi-​Def never provided a quote or called that referral back which made us look bad. The reliability that we appreciated is no longer and sadly we had to find another

Dennis and his crews are terrific. I recently contracted with him to install grass in my yard. I found the bid to be reasonable, so we proceeded. His communication was excellent — keeping me up-​to-​date on all of the steps and the timeline. And most importantly, the work was meticulous. I really appreciate the quality of his work and his strong customer service skills.

I am quite pleased with Hi-​Definition Landscape and Dennis. Within days of my email he came out and gave me a quote. Within days of the quote his crew came and did everything he said they would, more than I expected. Dennis and his crew are professional, courteous and do excellent work.

Sadly I had the same experience as a few other Unilocalers. Dennis hasn’t returned my call like he said he would — after talking to me and asking me to send my info to him. I did as requested but didn’t hear from him. Sent a gentle reminder via text but still nothing… Wow it’s nice to be so independent that you don’t have to call the little people back.

Came out, gave a verbal estimate, promised a detailed one later by email. Never heard from him again. Did not respond to repeated emails. I can only assume he only wants big jobs.

Dennis and team did a great job with clearing yard debris from our back yard. There were complications (equipment failures, resources, etc) and Dennis went above and beyond to ensure our home was ready for our daughters birthday party. That commitment to customer service is very rare and obviously greatly appreciated by myself and other Unilocalers who have taken the time to send well deserved kudos his way.

This company is the best. The owner, Dennis, was simply fantastic. He was professional, responsive, and nice to work with. I needed someone to clean up an overgrown tree in my yard and remove a boatload of poison ivy. I got three estimates and Dennis’s was by far the best. He was so thorough and his crew were great too. I recommended him to my mother-​in-​law, who lives a few doors down, too. When I need additional landscaping and yard maintenance services, I am going to ask Dennis. I really just can’t say enough good things about him.

If Unilocal allowed me to give 6 stars, I would. Dennis seems to be focused on two things: customer service and quality. He is amazing and knowledgeable when it comes to all things outdoor-​related. He explains the why’s, what’s, and how’s for every project, and I appreciate the fact that he educates me on every aspect of a job. For example, my wife and I are considering having a tree put in. He told me all about the Japanese Maple, and how it would be a great fit for the spot we are considering.
Moreover, Dennis’ commitment to customer service is amazing. He’s one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met.
Bonus: I have a very protective dog (Cane Corso/​Rottweiler mix). My dog took to Dennis like he was her best friend. It was downright amazing.

Dennis Swasey is the one I would rely and trust! I had several experiences with different landscapers and I wasn’t completely satisfied with their work. I was hoping to find a landscaper that will charge me with reasonable price for lawn maintenance, but did the shoddy work. My last landscaper didn’t come without letting me know and terminated our business relationship. This sudden termination forced me to seek for another landscaper. I found Hi-​Definition Landscape online and it comes with good website and before/​after pictures. I took this as a chance to contact Dennis. He promptly showed up and brought his tablet to communicate with me because I use American Sign Language. He was very patient and answered a lot of questions, and I told him about my budget and ability to afford his services. He was very accommodating and gave me a quote for the service. After one year with Dennis, and I am still impressed with his work! Our email correspondence are top-​notch and I referred him to my friends. Dennis Swasey of Hi-​Definition Landscape is a hard-​working, honest businessman with a great crew of guys. I can’t say enough good about his work, his ability to troubleshoot and make suggestions. The crew did their job quickly over several different projects and cleaned up everything after they were done. I highly recommend Dennis of Hi-​Definition Landscape, without hesitation.

Seemed great at first. Dennis came out the same day we contacted him. Had great ideas and understood exactly what we wanted. Then he met us at the stone center and helped us pick out flagstone. We were told we would have a quote 2 days later. A week later he gave us a quote that didn’t match the work we needed done. When we let him know he revised it but it was still all wrong. Went line by line and asked for a new quote. He said he would have it for me but it never came. If it is this difficult to get a quote I am afraid to think how the project would have gone. At the end of the day it was a total waste of my time.

Now I know why the company is named Hi Definition… I see the potential what my yard could become. I was very impressed the moment I saw what he did after his work was complete the first day out… His work was very detailed to the point that I was kind of speechless… very impressed… Dennis, good job man… can’t wait to see the final results…

I found Dennis Swasey and Hi Definition Landscaping through the Better Business Bureau. As a consumer I believe it’s worthwhile to do a little homework on a company in order to alleviate the headaches that come with poor service. My expectations as a consumer are simple; do what you say you’re going to do, within the timeframe you said it could be done, for the price you said it would cost. I am very happy to say that Dennis exceeded my expectations in every category.
Dennis is prompt, professional and he does a great job keeping his customers up to date. I was on vacation while Hi Definition Landscaping removed a couple of trees from my yard, not once did I have to worry about the status of the job. Dennis would text me his crews schedule and then photos of the the completed job, it was great service.
I have already recommended Hi Definition Landscaping to my Realtor and General Contractor. Dennis will be my first call any time the need arises.

Our yard was in shambles after our lawn service made sure to keep the lawn mowed, but let the weeds and ivy and such get out of control. We traveled a lot over the summer, so we weren’t paying a whole lot of attention to what was happening until it was too late. Ivy reached from the ground to the roof. Weeds had grown that were taller than I am. Both my wife and I tried to attack the weeds, but they had grown past our ability to handle them.
So, thanks to Unilocal,I found Hi Definition Landscaping. Dennis Swasey was lovely to work with. He came out promptly to look at the house and sent us a very professional proposal to deal with our mess. While it certainly wasn’t cheap, it was very reasonable and worth every penny. I have my yard back. Hi Definition will now be coming out twice a month to keep my yard in shape, and with Dennis’s help, I’m sure that my yard will soon be the envy of my neighbors. If you just need a basic lawn service, or if your yard is a veritable jungle, Hi Definition Landscaping will handle all of your needs.

I purchased my first home and needed some cleanup work done to my property. Hi Definition Landscape was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I was very impressed with the initial cleanup and retained the services on a monthly basis. The work is exceptional and the prices for the services are reasonably.
My yard has gone from a brown eyesore to a green lush paradise in the 9 months I have been with the company. I would recommend this service if you are looking for anything from yard maintenance, tree removal, and landscaping. You won’t be disappointed.

My landscaper of three years got out of the business and it was a tough transition. The three landscapers I hired subsequently didn’t measure up to what I was accustomed too and of course, charged more.
Then I found Dennis Swasey, yay!!! He is a star in my eyes as he maintains my lawn beautifully, is dependable and charges a reasonable fee.
