They did a fabulous job! Will was on time every day and went above and beyond to make our house look beautiful! They even installed door stops on all of our walls. At the end he walked me through everything he did. Extremely detail oriented!

I have used this service twice so far, and have been very pleased with the result. The professionals were punctual, thorough, and efficient. I plan to use them again.

I needed a handyman to clear up some electrical and decking items from a home inspection for the sale of my house. After calling three or four different handyman services, only to be told there was no availability for a few weeks, I called Hands You Demand, and they were able to schedule someone within a few days. Neil was an experienced electrician, and successfully repaired the electrical items, including correcting a mess of an issue where I had had my AC unit replaced. He didn’t charge for a break he took, or when he was on the phone when coming back from Home Depot, and only charged cost for the parts needed. I would recommend, and would use their services again.

Door going from house to garage had a broken knob and was stuck ‘closed’, would not budge. After my husband worked on it for over an hour he finally conceded and we found Hands You Demand. Great service/​communication even before someone got to my house. Jose’ got here at the agreed time and had the door off the hinges, and new door knobs on in about 30 minutes! I was so glad to have my door back after 4 days of not being able to use it. Jose’ was great! Highly recommend this company

Excellent job! He came in a repaired a toilet, cleaned the drain of a sink, recaulked a shower, replaced wiring and smoke alarm and put a new door knob on. It was around $ 500 but that included his services and materials (including $ 130 for door knob). Will definitely be using them for future repairs /​home improvement needs!

I found this company on Unilocal after searching for a handyman. My dishwasher was leaking and I was afraid it might damage my floor if I didn’t get it fixed quickly. They responded to my e-​mail request for a quote quickly. They came out the same day and looked at my issues so they could quote the job (s) for me. About 3 days passed and they were able to get someone to my house for the repairs. I had a very nice young man named Brandon show up and he got everything I needed taken care of. I was watching my wallet and he did the bare minimum related to the leak which was what I needed today. Bottom line is, I was happy to get a quote prior to work, I was happy that the total actually matched the quote and I was happy that they could get someone to fix my problem in a timely manner. I have many more projects lined up and will be calling them again when I have more funds. Thank you from a happy customer.

I had a number of yard work chores and inside cleaning projects that had been on my To Do list for weeks. I finally broke down and scoured the internet for help! I happen to come upon Hands You Demand, and after reading the positive reviews on Unilocal,wrote for help. Within hours they called to confirm my requirements and just days later, they sent Freddy to my rescue. He was on time, friendly, and a really hard worker! I can’t say enough good things about my experience! (as an fyi, Freddy planted 8 bushes, power washed my patio, cut bushes, cleaned all my kitchen cabinets, washed and sealed my wood floors, and polished my wood furniture — all with a smile!!) I will definitely be using Hands You Demand again!

I needed a garbage disposal replaced, new vinyl flooring in a couple areas and faucet issues in both bathrooms. I met Izzy at Home Depot to pick up supplies. He was extremely friendly, but most importantly the quality of his work was superb! He also made great suggestions for some things I may want to consider. I will definitely use H.Y.D. again.

I used them to complete multiple items on my home inspection punch list. John Luke was professional, honest and did excellent work. New home owners even said what a good job he did. Will use again and already referred to a neighbor.

They picked up the first time I called and were able to schedule an appointment that same day. John Luke came out and fixed the original issue in .745 seconds, then helped me out with a few other things around the house. Very knowledgable and friendly. Absolutely recommend these guys.

This group is a real find. I have had two different workers for general yard work and they have performed beautifully.

Needed to Toby, Aka Kitty, proof 6 kitchen cabinets, hang framed photos, and hang curtains. Saw no charge for
by time i filled out request Matt called me. I scheduled last week only reason for wait is that fed ex left my package in Savanah so i had to schedule out otherwise could have been out next day. He may seem pricey at $ 127 the first hour and $ 87 per hr broken into 15 mins intervals BUT Matt sent me is best worker, Jose Zapata. Jose quoted me 2 hrs total job. He was done in 1!!! is very reasonable and i highly recommend him. That’s service. Fellow Animal lovers and especially Cat people Matt is a TRUE CAT DUDE also prior military and Jose former baseball player minor leagues Baltimore Orioles and just a fabulous person and excellent handyman.
Jose did excellent work. Jose is very friendly and gives excellent customer service. Amount he quoted for job was 2 hrs at $ 217 total it only took 1 hr so i paid $ 127. Highly recommend. I don’t easily give 5 stars but i would for Jose and hands you demand.

When I call, they remember me… my name, when they last served me and where. I’ve only used them for day labor but THAT was near perfect. I never ask for any specific individual; have not been disappointed in whoever comes. They call when they are on the way, they are always on time, wearing their uniform and ready to work. They work hard nonstop. Always have cold water and a lunch for them if they are there for you on an 8-​hour. Your choice: 3– 6– and 8-​hour shifts. Bonded and insured is best part.

Minor electrical work on the interior and exterior were done professionally and correctly immediately. Extra parts were needed and that was purchased without any hesitation. Professional employees and customer care was handled excellently. Will use again and would recommend for any job, large or small.

A great service! Our helping hands were provided by Freddy and he was amazing. On time, polite and a SUPER hard worker. We will be using this company again. We used them to help us move boxes and things we can’t do. From the basement, to upstairs, and reversed, and putting things we were tossing in to a construction dumpster. We will use this company again for future projects coming up. Thank you Freddy!!!

I «discovered» this company on Angie’s List, and checked them out on Tucker Town Talk on Facebook. They live up to their billing. I used them in their «organization — home and garden» capacity. David helped me in my library and laundry room/​pantry which had become a dumping ground for everything I didn’t have the time or physical capacity (injury) to deal with. He is strong, patient, kind, intelligent, quick and extremely efficient. Their billing is quite clever: you pay by number of workers and blocks of hours. The charges are very reasonable. When you hire them, they will work hard, steadily and get a lot accomplished. I will use them again, in fact I am moving my «honey do» lists to a «to do» list for them.

I normally do not leave reviews but Hands You Demand has demonstrated such professionalism, timely quotes, open schedule offerings, and quality work for such a great price I couldn’t miss the opportunity to rave about them. It is SO hard to find a contractor in this city, especially one who returns phone calls, responds to emails, has open scheduling, who does quality work for a great price. I am shocked and so happy I have found a gem in this industry. It is so hard to please me as well so believe me when I say they are GREAT. I am the GM of a successful lounge here in Atlanta and have had my share of contractors, plumbers, painters, you name it, I have tried it. Finally, my 4 year search is over and I am so happy to call Hand You Demand my contractor for business and personal projects. Recommending to all my friends, family and work affiliates.

Our shower had a small crack in the tile and while having new floors installed we discovered water was draining into the bedroom subfloor because the drain and shower membrane were deteriorated. The entire tile shower floor had to be removed so that a new shower liner, concrete, drain, and tile could be installed. So, not a small job! I called several handyperson service companies for a quote. HYD was not only the lowest quote by nearly $ 700, but also did a great job on the project. The customer service was great, from the time they came to give the estimate to the completion of the tiling work. The good communication continued throughout the job. It did take a few more days than we originally planned, but I’ve discovered that is typical on repair jobs regardless of who is performing them (in our case, the concrete did not dry properly the first time). We also had them install a new toilet in our other bathroom while they were here. Jose was our service person. He was professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed throughout the process. Lennie was great about letting us know when Jose would be running late due to traffic and/​or issues on another job and also gave us a supply list so we could save some money by purchasing the materials ourselves. They charged us exactly what they said they would in the estimate and we did not have to pay a dime until the work was complete. I did have to cart the trash to the curb myself, but I’d rather do that myself than pay for it anyway, and Jose was kind enough to carry the old toilet out for me. I hope we don’t have another home disaster anytime soon, but if we do I am going to call HYD. If they did this well on a medium-​sized job, I would be willing to bet they can knock out smaller jobs even more quickly and professionally. They are the handiest hands in town!

The team were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. I had asked for a renovation to a kitchen/​dining area to open it up and create a more open kitchen concept. A wall was torn down, cabinets were removed and re-​positioned, a tile floor was removed, a pantry was built, sections of new walls were added and unnecessary walk-​throughs and openings were closed. They also added recessed lights, moved electrical outlets/​switches, re-​positioned AC venting, while finishing the base mouldings and walls to paint.
They cleaned as they went and they were flexible to my schedule as possible. As a courtesy, I didn’t have a vehicle to haul larger items so they made the trips to get the items needed. The price was reasonable beating the competition on 4 other companies. I highly recommend the team and I would hire the them again when needed.

«My wife and I used HYD to help us move a couple of months ago. Ricardo and Freddy were fantastic. They were VERY careful with all of our stuff. Especially my wife’s precious antique vanity that was her great grandmother’s. After the move. Freddy told me that they also offer handyman services. I told him I was sure we would have things to do at our new place. And we did. As luck would have it our refrigerator’s water ice line froze, backed up, and leaked through the wall into our guest bedroom. The baseboard was ok but the drywall was stained and warped from the water. I called another appliance company to fix the refrigerator and then called Hands You Demand to come fix the drywall. The technician Noah that came out was super polite and charming and the work he did repairing our drywall couldn’t of gone any better. (We did find a bit of drywall dust from the sanding that somehow made it through the plastic drop cloth and into the carpet… But Noah used his own mini vacuum and got it all up in no time!) We also had him install a dimmer switch in our daughter’s bedroom. We we’re super pleased with the professionalism of all of the guys at HYD. And I know we’ll need and use them again soon! Make sure to ask for Noah! He is incredible!»
