Beastie Darlings specializes in behavior for pets and performance dogs. Let us help you build a relationship with communication rather than domination as a foundation. With our straightforward, positive techniques we shift our focus from tricking, managing and dominating our dogs to one of coaching them toward self control and good decision making.

You not only learn how to teach your dogs, but you also learn how to listen to your dogs and to yourself. YOU get to have the relationship you always wanted without dominating and managing your dog all day. Your DOG gets a clear understanding of self control and the ability to make good decisions.

Private Classes are available and can be customized to your unique needs.

History

Established in 1999.

Beastie Darlings was created because I think all animals are amazing, but dogs hold a special place in my heart and in my life. Those studies linking the evolution of man to his association with dogs really ring true for me. They certainly have made a difference in my evolution!

I enjoyed working/​playing with dogs all my life, but was forced to explore training officially when I received a chow/​pit bull puppy as a gift. I had to learn techniques, which did not depend on force, as the «experts» back then promoted. She changed my life and was my guide and mentor for 14 years.

Tango inspired me to leave a successful career in the service industry and pursue my dream of training dogs. I spent years training personnel and the fact is, I’m still training people… I just get to play with dogs while I do. How fun is that, eh?

Each of the animals who have come into my life have taught me how to be a better person. SuLing taught me compassion while Ralph brought honesty and enthusiasm. Tango showed me determination and persistence while Jiggs relayed the importance of adventures. I continue to learn the power of forgiveness and the beauty of unconditional love and look forward to the next lessons with great anticipation. I hope you will join me in an upcoming lesson soon!

As a certified Dog Educator, BD has conducted group and private training sessions since 1999. She continues to grow professionally by attending seminars, training camps and individual sessions with master trainers. She is an AKC Evaluator, a member of the Georgia Association of Positive Dog Trainers and a member of Truly Dog-​Friendly
