The Bagel Loft

On two occasions I ordered the same sandwich: turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato…
On both occasions I opened the wrapping to find a sandwich made of… turkey bacon. Cold turkey bacon.
If there’s one thing that really annoys me is screwed up take out orders. Because I don’t find out until after I get home. I’m hungry, have a million other things to do, which is why I ordered takout to begin with. Then the screw up, which just… sucks. Who wants to truck all the way back so they can fix THEIR mistake? It’s not like I live around the corner, either.
Buyer beware. We shouldn’t have to, but check your takeout order before leaving…

We used to come to this place all the time. We loved them! We were literally there every weekend. The owner was always around and the deli seemed to run smoothly. As they got busier, things started to slip. We noticed that the owner wasn’t around as much, and the service was suffering. Very slow, and several times we waited and waited and waited only to go to the counter to check on our food and find out that is was already prepared and just sitting there getting cold. No one would even call to let us know our food was ready to go! Really sad, because this was our go-​to spot!

Amazing bagels! Beautiful place! We highly recommend it! Will definitely make it our regular place to get bagels & coffee!

I have been here a few times. I love the cozy neighborhood feel and the friendly atmosphere. The service can be slow but they always make up for it with kindness. The food is good and they have an awesome selection.

Their homemade soups are amazing, paninis are excellent. However, their bagels have been very stale & hard a few different times that I have ordered there. I guess it’s hit or miss and you have to get a bagel when they first make them. I just order rolls now. Other then that it’s a great place. Staff is extremely nice and helpful!

I bought a Groupon for a dozel bagels and a half pound of cream cheese. I showed up on a Monday morning. Although there were plenty of bagels for sale, the gentleman behind the counter told me he couldn’t accept the voucher because too many people had already redeemed theirs for the day. He suggested I come back the next day. When I told him I drove from New Rochelle for the bagels, he told me he could only offer me plain and whole wheat bagels. When I reminded him there were plenty of bagels for sale, he told me he needed those for the regular customers, not the Groupon redeemers.
The whole point of offering a Groupon deal is to attract new customers. Rest assured, I will never return.
When I called Groupon customer service to explain my experience at The Bagel Loft, the rep was surprised and disappointed. She gladly issued me a refund, and said the man’s attitude was completely unacceptable.
Their bagels might be good, but this place needs to work on their customer service skills.

I love this place! Great edition to Crestwood. Everyone who works there, as well as the owners are so incredibly friendly, and the utmost attention and care is obviously given to the customers. The décor is contemporary and modern, and always is so clean! Everything (especially their bagels) is always so fresh. Don’t be deceived by the name– they don’t only have bagels! They have everything ranging from yogurt to salad to soup to paninis. The coffee is great too! Awesome place.

They have a huge selection to choose from! The guys behind the counter are extremely friendly and patient as I couldn’t choose what I wanted. The breakfast selection itself is a bit limited, but the guy behind the counter was very accommodating and allowed me to put whatever I wanted in my breakfast wrap! I got a sausage, egg whites, cheddar cheese, & home fries spinach wrap with hot sauce and salsa. I loved that they put the perfect amount of all ingredients in the wrap. I will definitely come back to try other things! Fair prices, great food, and extremely friendly service!

Would give this place negative stars. Just left there so mad. Ordered two bagels toasted with cream cheese. They gave them to us not toasted. When we asked to toast them the girl said sure no problem. Took them and MICROWAVED them, so they were soggy with microwaved cream cheese. We left and they still charged us! Unacceptable.

Great place delicious food! They have a lot more than bagels. Many delicious sandwiches, paninis etc.

Took very long to open, but was worth the wait. Very friendly staff and a wide selection… not just bagels. The bagels are good, and they have many types. Recently had a panini, and it was amazing! Great place for breakfast or lunch, and they are very fast in the morning – haven’t missed a train when I’ve run in for a bagel to go!
