Manager

I offer Classical Latin, Classical (Attic) Greek, and Biblical Hebrew. I am concerned with teaching ancient languages within the context of their own idioms and forcing the English mind to acquire these idioms rather than allowing an ancient language to become a mere code system for English. I am interested that students develope a new way of thinking about communication that will, in turn, allow them to apprehend concepts previously outside their normal paradigms. I have experience teaching at the primary and secondary level. Adult students are also welcome. I am also familiar with Akkadian, Ugaritic, Aramaic, Old-​English, phonetics-​phonology, and history of the English Language. I will be offering Old-​English beginning June 2013. I am currently a Master of Divinity student at St. Vladimir’s Theological Seminary. In my free time when I’m not reading grammars I enjoy calligraphy, poetry, singing, tradtional Celtic music, Gregorian Chant, and such authors as Tolkien, and Dostoevsky.
