Great brewery! 12 beers on tap with a great variety. Wide open space, comfortable seating and bring your own food. Staff was knowledgable and friendly, had a awesome time.

I’m something of a beer drinker (if it wasn’t obvious, lol) and I’m always on the lookout for local beer. I don’t generally discriminate, it’s like anything, if it’s good it’s good, and if I like it, I like it.
That being said I generally like to support local businesses wherever I go, and this includes breweries. I like the variety and individuality of local beers. To get something that I can’t necessarily get anywhere and everywhere is really cool to me.
Broken Bow opened up a little over 2 years ago. This is a family operation and it’s your pretty typical brewery. You can show up when they’re open, do a flight or otherwise sample whatever’s on tap or just hang out and enjoy a cold brew. The tasting room is nice and there’s plentiful seating.
They have several mainstays, plus several seasonal and special edition brews that they rotate through. Similar to most breweries, you can take your beer by the growler and if you bring your empties back you get a discount off the refill.
And of course everyone is very friendly and attentive. So we have a family operation, which I love to support. A local, New York company, and you all know I like to keep my money in New York as much as possible. And of course just a good business with a nice variety of unique local brews. More than enough to make me happy.

Broken Bow may not be the very best brewery I’ve been to but I certainly can’t think of a reason why I wouldn’t give them 5 stars. Broken Bow is easy to get to by car but even if you don’t have a car it’s a reasonable train ride and walk from metro north. They don’t serve food but let you get food delivered and even have some local menus to browse through. They do have free peanuts at all their tables as well. In addition to the few hightop tables and stools they have half a dozen comfortable leather chairs. I really liked their industrial yet comfortable layout with having the tasting room among the brewing tanks. If you’re like me and love a brewery with activities, they do have a couple drawers filled with board games and a dart board in great shape off to the side where you’re not in anyone’s way.
For beers they had about a dozen on tap. They do carry a limited selection in cans or large bottles and of course growlers are also an option. Though I’ve been to about 50 breweries Broken Bow is only the second brewery I’ve ever purchased a growler at. The reasons are because they had a unique growler that looked like a mini keg and because their Pumpkin Octoberfest beer was excellent and it wasn’t an option they had in cans and I didn’t want to have to hunt down a bar that may be serving it. It was $ 18 for the Growler and $ 15 to fill it (some of their other less specialty beers were $ 12 to fill and their regular glass growlers are $ 16). Unlike many other pumpkin beers that only really taste like cinnamon and nutmeg this one actually tasted like a pumpkin and of course beer, the combination was very well balanced. Of course pumpkin beer is a seasonal thing and not for everyone so the good news is that they had a lot of other great beer options. Whether you liked stouts, lagers, IPAs, or reds, or sour beers they had something available for you. None of the beers were a disappointment. Flights include 4 beers for only $ 6 and come with a little chalkboard identifying them. It’s also worth noting that the service here was excellent and being open 1– 10pm (Fri & Sat) was awesome. They’re closed Monday and Tuesday but open 5 – 8 Wed/​Thur and 1−5pm Sunday.
I’m definitely planning on making a return trip here and as they don’t have any outdoor space (a shame) there’s really no reason not to wait for warm weather for another trip up to Tuckahoe for a couple more beers at Broken Bow.

If you are in Westchester or northern Bronx and like beer — this place must be on your list. Unfortunately I never knew it existed and just stumbled across the place. They have a really great selection of tasty beers the vary throughout the year. The atmosphere is nice, too, since the bar is rather small but you are exposed to the underbelly of the brewery (tanks, coolers, etc.). There a few TV’s planted throughout as well which is a nice plus. The one negative here is no food. I think they could possibly get away with beer garden style pretzels and other (very!) basics. Overall, a very positive experience and recommended.

Great beer at solid prices and a knowledgeable staff. Definitely a cool space to hang out after work. They have board games and NES set up on a big screen. I bought a bottle of their pumpkin spice oktoberfest and a mixed four pack of cans to go.

JB was absolutely amazing! The brews are incredible! It’s such a comforting atmosphere, so laid back and fun! Great experience! Will definitely return when we are back in the area!!! The best hospitality we’ve ever experienced!!!

This is a great neighborhood brewery. Nice selection although my favorite is a seasonal and was not available. Big video game screen and a number of bar tops to sit at. The girl pouring was nice and friendly and made time to talk. I went on a Saturday afternoon so cannot speak for peak times.
Good beer, good value, comfortable space and friendly staff. Would definitely return.
By the way, it is a shame that this place is not as well known as Capt. Lawrence. This place beats Capt. Lawrence hands down at beer and staff.

What a great place for a party. Had 65 people and there was plenty of room to spare. Was even able to cater from Italian restaurant across the street!

Great addition to Tuckahoe. Ive been here for parties, and just with friends– every experience has been great. All of the employees are very knowledgeable about the products they have.

Been coming here since they opened and love that it is family owned. They have made huge strides in terms of beer quality, new styles, events, and atmosphere. They support local bands and restaurants with regular events, and recently added an old school nes with some Super Mario. Quality saisons, stouts, lagers, ipa’s, special beers, friendly staff, and a great space to boot. I love this place!

As someone thats rarely interested or impressed by stouts or porters, I am proud to report that broken bow has won me over. The elderberry vanilla porter has GREAT flavor without being too heavy or overwhelming. Their lager is smooth and refreshing. The real surprise to my wife and I was the farmhouse ale in our sampler flight. We expected to be overwhelmed with hops as we generally are in a farmhouse ale. It was a bit cloudy, a bit tart and very dangerous in that the high alcohol content is completely masked with its great flavor, I can foresee the ABV catching some off gaurd. The free peanuts are a nice touch. Their music selection was the perfect match to their beer selection and it was a great way to spend a couple hours drinking beer styles that we’d previously written off.

Nice beers. But you should get rid of your Unilocal offer if you’re not accepting it. Like your Friday music.

I was glad we made it out to Broken Bow when we were in the area. On a day when we were already visiting two other breweries, it made sense to add this one to the list, even if my boyfriend and I had never heard of it before. The beers we tried were all very good — my boyfriend got a flight, and I got a pint of something with a hint of cranberry that I really liked. We sat at a side bar, which had a great view of a big screen TV and several little buckets of free peanuts, which we enjoyed. A group next to us was playing a board game, and we couldn’t help but notice that there was an old school Nintendo system with tons of games available to play. Next time.

Fantastic pub just in my backyard. The beers were very clean tasting with no after taste. Our group really enjoyed the comfortable seating and atmosphere of the brewery. We even got an opportunity to peek into the brewing area of the place.
The group game activities made time go by fast and was very fun for all.
The IPA was excellent. The staff and the owners were very nice and informative.

Broken Bow Brewery is a small brewery located in the burbs of NYC in Tuckahoe. Yes Tuckahoe, New York go figure. Now with this said, Broken Bow Brewery has some tasty beers. Remember, this is the main thing; «good tasty beers».
The brewery has a nice selection of the varies styles of beer; IPA, seasonal, ale, larger, stout, etc. I really enjoyed tasting 4 or 5 different beers on my first visit with the wife. I find this the best part of the brewery experience. Tasting tasty beers in a comfortable Tap Room. You can purchase pints, flights or growlers.
The Tap Room is a spacious area with plenty of seating. They have a half dozen soft leather chairs and a couple of dozen bar stools to seat and enjoy some beers. There is a 60 inch TV to catch a game. While there is no food service. Free peanuts are available plus you could bring in outside food. The wife and I ordered pizza. Always goes well when sampling beers.
Service was good. The staff seem young, but knowledgeable. Clean bathrooms. Take credit cards.
Overall, Broken Bow Brewery is a solid brewery. The beers are tasty and flavorful. The Tap Room is comfortable. The facility was well designed and spotless. All this makes for an excellent brewery experience. Broken Bow Brewery is definitely a must visit if you are making the rounds of breweries in the area.

I tried all of the beers they had on tap here today and it was a fun time. The beers are tasty and there are a lot of surprises in terms of taste. Jordan gave probably the most informative brewery tour I’ve been on, and Sophia was enormously helpful. I am looking forward to coming back and trying the new beers!

Visited broken bow tonight. The bartender, Sam, was super friendly and informative. But even moreso than my experience wirh the staff, the beer was delicious! The brewery is very intimate, with the machines front and center to the tasting room. Magical things are happening here, and its so exciting to see this up and coming brewery create such nice beers. I highly recommend.

Best craft beer I have ever had. Great selection from heart stout to coffee stout. Loved each one — especially the 8.0 abv Broken IIPA. Family owned and run, they brew everything from scratch. Their brewery’s tasting room is amazing and you can see the beer being brewed. Pints are $ 5 and taste better than Captain Lawrence. Ask for Mike, he is funny looking but a good brew master.

I was in the area and needed to kill a few minutes so I figured I would have a look inside and take home a 6-​pack to support a local business.
I do not drink much but I do appreciate a good beer. I began drinking beer in college so that I could milk my one can of beer at parties and make it appear like I drank more than I did (because no one could see how much was left in the can). Due to that, I began to actually enjoy beer and now I like an occasional beer and trying local brews from NY or wherever I am traveling.
I cannot attest to the experience of coming to sit in the sample room but the kid manning the front desk was nice enough and poured me a sample and I took home a 6-​pack of the Auger Lager.
The 5-​star ratting is for the quality of the beer. The 6-​pack was ice cold, the beer tastes great, and maybe it is in my head but the freshness makes a difference.
I will be back to pick up another pack and will definitely grab a bunch to show off at barbecues.
