History

Established in 2014.

My name is Daniel Birch. I, personally, am a local Portlander and have been in the hospitality industry s doing catered events for various events such as weddings, business functions, organizational summits, private dinners, house parties and any other catered type event you can think of.

I noticed that there was a gap between customers who are providing their own food and drinks but then also trying to find quality wait staff. I asked people who hosted parties, «Where do people go to find private wait staff for their parties if they have their own food?» The answers I got back were varied from, hire a temp agency or go to a restaurant and find the nicest waiter/​waitress and ask if they do private parties. Well, that is hardly a for sure way to get real quality experienced servers for a private event.

So, I formed The Wait Staff Team.

My name is Daniel Birch. I, personally, am a local Portlander and have been in the hospitality industry for over 5 years doing catered events for various events such as weddings, business functions, organizational summits, private dinners, house parties and any other catered type event you can think of.

I still believe that service is an art and strive to perform with that as a guiding principle.
