What a lovely surprise! My husband and I stumbled upon this place when we were craving Thai food. Besides the rather alarming door bell that rings as you enter, we were pleased with the atmosphere, view of the water, and the very friendly service! Our food came out incredibly fast and it was creatively displayed! It is so fun when restaurants take the care and effort to make their dishes look just as good as they taste! Delicious! Will definitely be going again and highly recommend!

Had the Drunken Noodles and they were amazing! First time I ordered delivery and my wait wasn’t very long. Only thing I would change is the amount of ice in the Thai Iced Tea.

Horrible service — and we were only ones in the restaurant! Ordered Pad Thai… seems like a common dish that would be ordered here… under cooked and tasted horrible! Not planning to go back

Terrible delivery service. Called multiple times to get address, even though it was given when the order was made. Took close to 2 hours from order to delivery to actually get the food.

Came in for lunch but was charged for dinner pricing which was $ 3 more. Food taste was decent, I ordered drunken noodles with beef at medium temperature and it was mild. Also had hardly any noodles was mostly vegetables and only 3 pieces of meat. Not worth 7.50 let alone 13.95.

We ordered 2 wide noodle dishes and both were just terrible. The worst I have ever tasted for Thai! Noodles were clumping together, no favors, only tasted garlic, meat was tough and tasteless. They don’t provide togo orders wit any utensils or napkins. When asked for chopsticks, she asked if we needed one or two pairs for our dishes! Wow just horrible! They don’t even deserve a star for food or service combined.

UNDERNEWOWNERSHIP/NEW MENU&RECIPES! Completely disappointed! Ordered take-out with my usual order and when I got it, it was a completely different dish. So different I was sure they got my order wrong. However after I told them the order was wrong, they told me it was a whole new menu with all new recipes and oh by the way a new owner! It would have been nice if they mentioned this change when I called in seeing as it appeared to happen overnight with no announcement. Also, what was prepared was unlike any Pad Woon Sen I’ve had at any Thai restaurant. Looked like stir fried vegetables with a few unseasoned noodles at the bottom. Be warned, the menu is much smaller now and not very descriptive and they wouldn’t even attempt to recreate the old recipe(which was a standard version). Too bad because I think this restaurant really needed more of an overhaul of its dated and dark décor, not its food/menu. They did give me a refund, but I doubt I’ll be back as it seems that the new owner/chef doesn’t stick to the traditional recipes you can count on.

Disgusting Pad Thai. Delivery driver just dropped it off 30 mins late because he got lost. Noodles are congealed together. Tofu and chicken are rubbery and I’m so pissed. Just gross

Drunken noodle and pad Thai is great. Tate service is not great and they can get busy easily and forget you’re there, however the food makes up for it. We order to go to avoid the sub par service.

We love this place! Friendly service, great food, outdoor seating on the lake, and never a wait(which I know is usually a bad sign — but not here)! We love the pad Thai, the yellow curry, and the mango fried rice.

I always try the Pad Thai before I order anything else from a Thai place. I think if this is a win, then it would be safe to say that the food is good. However, I order the basic chicken pad thai and I get angel hair noodles, instead of the traditional rice noodle. I could count about 5 pieces of chicken on my plate, and the overall dish was dry and bland. No thanks.

Worst Thai food I have ever had. Service was mediocre as well. I’m not sure how long this place has been here. But I’m sure it won’t be around for long.

Disappointing all around. Service not unfriendly but not good. Food was not good. Lime chicken tasted like an air freshener or lime pledge. Unwelcoming and staff was too busy talking behind the counter to notice us. All could be forgiven probably but the food was not at all good either. Even the rice was marginal. Too bad we will never be back here again. I can’t believe this place is still in business but imagine their food will make their end soon. I just hope I don’t food poisoning to top it off.

Was not impressed. Spent a lot of time in Thailand which in turn has made me very picky with my Thai food and this place was very disappointing. My wife and I bot ate about half our meals and didn’t bother to take the rest home. Service was good I would say, little slow but friendly.

Pleasantly surprised how good the Thai food was, may have been understaffed on a Sunday but I definitely would recommend this place.

Don’t know how good the food is… didn’t get that far. Saw the menu said«NOREFILLSONDRINKS». This was a deal breaker for me. Left before ordering. It is a bad sign if the venue is going to charge $ 2.00 then skimp on the drinks, paying for mostly ice. I wasn’t going to find out how that was to play out on my entrèe.

I was not happy with my pad Thai or yellow curry. The pad Thai was very soupy and the noodles did not taste fresh. The curry was fluorescent yellow. The portions were generous for the price. Service was good.

Not bad at all. I’ve been to Thair Bistro a couple of times. I would go more often, except that their prices are a little insane. They have a really nice location, with lake view, and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. Very nice ambiance. I’d say their food is slightly above average. I’ve had better, but it’s good. The prices though are very high.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times and have always enjoyed doing so. yesterday I had a lunch special and was glad to have tried them again. First of all, the restaurant right now is very charming and cozy. They have decked themselves all out for the holidays. The white chair covers and tables give it a more elegant feel, and the red pointsettas, Christmas tree, and lights made it feel cozy. I guess they have been decorating for a few years since I noticed a reviewer from 2009 say that they decked it all out back then too. I liked it. It felt different and more calm than without the festive cheer. I would suggest eating inside now, and then in the summer eat out by the lake. We got a cup of egg drop soup before our meal. We ordered the Yellow curry tofu and the tofu vegetable ginger. We also got a puja cream puff and a side of Pad Thai with our lunch special. lunch was about $ 8.00 per person, and they have a beautiful view of the Tualatin man made lake. Portions were adequate and i was full until late that night. A few comical spelling errors on the menu, but nothing else to really complain about. I hope to try them again soon.

I have been to this place many times. It just always seems to be an easy meeting spot with friends and in the summer it’s fun because you can sit outside by the lake. Today I ventured out and ordered something besides Pad Thai. I ordered the Pad Si Ew and it was so very good. It was a decision I do not regret. The Pad Thai is really good as well and Lana’s Favorite is also a favorite at this place, but they don’t serve a lunch size portion.
