Dr. Monson performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. Not only is she obviously a skilled surgeon, as the results were perfect, but she truly cares about her patients. She addresses the anxiety we all feel when facing surgery, by explaining the process, and exactly what to expect. She took the time to answer all of my concerns and questions, and at all times was very professional, exacting and kind. Her staff clearly are devoted to her and respect the consistently excellent care she offers her patients. Dr Monson, her staff, her clinic, and the surgical center she uses, could not have been more caring. I would not hesitate to recommend her and in fact, have already given her name to several friends who were searching for an ophthalmologist. I just wish she could also be my dentist, my attorney, my CPA, my general practitioner. She’s quite simply, brilliant.

The original eye exam was flawed. They kept adjusting the glasses so I finally asked for another exam. They changed the prescription and told me my right eye got worse and I’d have pay for a new lens replacement. After complaining, a new exam revealed an adjusted prescription at no charge and replacement lens.
