Wonderful surprise! I really enjoy my floral arrangements from Shirley’s Florist. The arrangements are fresh and current. It’s always nice to receive an unexpected arrangement and Shirley and her staff NEVER disappoint. Thanks!!!

I chose Shirley’s Florist based upon another review here on Unilocal.I’m so glad I did. I placed an online order for a basket of white hydrangeas for a funeral, not even thinking about the time of year it was and that they were out of season. Within an hour, someone at Shirley’s called to let me know that they were not available, but suggested a pot of mums in their place. The next day I realized I had given them the wrong funeral home information in my online order, so I called to make the change — they had already taken care of it for me.
When I arrived at the funeral home on Tuesday, I was thinking the mums would be in a small pot (my order was in the $ 50 range) but the lady (I believe her name is Denise) had described them as beautiful and she wasn’t kidding. They were the biggest, prettiest pot of yellow mums I’ve ever seen, and they can be replanted. Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and excellent customer service. I will recommend you to everyone!

I chose to call them because they had a website which is associated with FTD — also because the house I wanted flowers delivered to was just on the other side of the hwy in Chaulkville.
I called them not consciously thinking they were two hours ahead (I’m in San Francisco) and when I called their driver was already out for the day. Katie answered the phone and after she looked up the address she said they would be able to deliver the same day because tomorrow was 4^th of July and they were closed.
Katie also was patient with me since the list over a dozen people that pitched in to send the flowers took awhile to make sure their names were all correctly spelled.
A little over an hour later, I called to add a name to the already long list but she said «I’m sorry. it’s out on delivery right now.» I said Wow, that was quick.
Here’s what my friend emailed all of us after she and her family received the flowers: «WOW! Today we got the largest, most beautiful arrangement of flowers I have ever seen.»
If I ever need any flowers in Birmingham again, I know where to go.
