Timberline Construction

I would highly recommend Timberline for anyone needing remodeling/​upgrades in their Tahoe home. We looked at several other contractors for our remodel which included addition of a wall in the upstairs loft to create a master bedroom. The work exceed our expectations and Christian came in with a great bid, and the quality of the work was excellent! Christian kept us informed on progress with emailed photos and was flexible when we made some minor changes along the way. He even made a special trip out to replace a door knob that we wanted changed to an antique bronze one! Great job and look forward to doing some more work in the future.

We used Timberline Construction to remodel our bathroom in Tahoe City and we are very happy with the completed project. Christian managed our project and was very helpful with his insight and construction expertise and completed the job on-​time and within budget. We live in the Bay Area and he made this very simple for us to make selections quickly without having to travel back and forth. I would highly recommend Timberline Construction and we will definitely use them again for our future projects.

Christian at Timberline Construction managed our bathroom remodeling project. We were extremely impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail, and management style. His workers were always friendly and their craftsmanship was first-​rate — the remodeling turned out beautiful.
Although the initial demolition phase began a few days later than scheduled, the project was completed on time (as promised — just before Christmas) and under budget. We highly recommend Timberline Construction for building /​remodeling projects.

Christian helped us with remodeling our kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The work came out great and on-​time since we needed to be back into the house before ski season. The quality of construction, attention to detail and organization were fantastic. In addition, he has the best communication I have ever seen among all of the contractors I have worked with which allowed us to tackle such a big construction project from the Bay Area with only a few trips to Tahoe. If you are considering a remodel or new construction, I would highly recommend Christian.

It has been a great pleasure working with Christian and his team of professionals. We bought a beautiful house that was dated and needed some remodeling and upgrades. The biggest challenge were the stairs that were originally built by the owner and are basically the centerpiece of the house along with the lake view. These stairs were not square nor plumbed. The stairwell was very narrow. We had all kinds of ideas but wanted to keep it simple. Christian worked with us to come up with a very modern yet tasteful design that complimented the house and simplified the clean lines and elements — very important in design. The final product is a visually pleasing maple wood staircase with rebar floor to ceiling sides instead of rails and a glass sided landing that is visible and compliments the floor to ceiling windows in the living room and kept it from looking like a cage. It also provided a larger stairwell without having thick banisters.
His crew also put in beautiful pine wood floors. When looking for estimates for installing wood floors, other contractors always quoted prices with laminate flooring, even though we had already stated we wanted inexpensive real pine.
We now rent our home out and always get great feedback with comments such as, «love that floor and staircase!»
I am looking forward to upgrading the bathrooms this summer with Christian and his crew, all of whom we found professional, easy to work with, and supper.

Christian is professional, patient and pays attention to details. We had his company do a kitchen remodel to our Tahoe Donner home that was beautiful. So we hired him again to do a large addition which also came out just as we had hoped. We have every confidence that he takes on all his jobs with integrity and hires professional subcontractors with the the same high standards.

We used Timberline to remodel a big portion of our living room and our entire kitchen. Christian and his team did an incredible job. He was extremely communicative and understood our goals so made recommendations /​decisions in-​line with what we expected. We installed all new appliances, cut out part of a load-​bearing wall, installed a new island, new countertops, etc. He was the lead on all of this and we’re incredibly satisfied with the work. We continue to use him for other odd jobs here and there and would highly recommend Timberline!

Christian and his subcontractors were fabulous. They remodeled our master bathroom in our Tahoe Donner cabin. Christian responded quickly to our request for a bid and completed the remodel on time and on budget. Oh, and it looks fabulous! We will definitely use Timberline Construction again.

We used Timberline construction to do an upgrade of our 40 yr. old A frame. The cabin had no attention paid to maintenance and was horribly neglected. Christian gave us great advice and was able to get us in touch for the right people when we needed engineering advice etc He did an amazing job on window replacement and finishing work. I wish we hadn’t needed so much foundation work as I would love to have him add a second bathroom.
He was wonderful as were his crew. They finished on time and the communication throughout the process was more than I ever expected.
I will use him again as soon as i can afford to move forward with the next project!

Now a HUGE fan of Christian and his crew at Timberline Construction. We have had the hardest time finding quality, communicative, professional contractors up in the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area. It’s been such a breath of fresh air to have Christian helping us out given that we live in the Bay Are and are not able to be there to check in all the time. Timberline Construction has also stepped up their game with new construction and high-​end remodels. Still impressed with their work. Great job Timberline Construction!

Christian put in some windows for me as well as fixed my bathroom floor. He was always on time and did great work. I would recommend.

We have a second home in Truckee and wanted to update the kitchen. After doing much research and obtaining estimates from low, mid and high end contractors, we decided on Christian with Timberline Construction! It was the best decision we have ever made! Now we have an amazing new kitchen, hallway, entry and stairs, plus guest bathroom. Christian is excellent. He is experienced with all ranges of work needed from high-​end to quick fixes. He is responsive, has in depth knowledge, knows all the best sub contractors, he meets his deadlnes, he is extremely reliable and cost conscious. He is also just a great, kind person. I highly recommend him to anyone.
I can’t wait to save up for him to extend our garage, update our other bathrooms, etc. He is a 5 star highly recommend.
