Stewart’s Marine is a one stop shop for all your boating needs, including storage, service, a large part inventory and quick turn around on special orders.

We are full service Inboard/​Outboard & Stern drive boat repair shop with certified mechanics. We work on all types of boats including ski/​wakeboard, luxury, oldie-​but-​goodie and the classic wood. We also have an award winning wood boat restoration team. Trailer repair is also one of our specialties. We are proud of the fact that we have not raised our labor rate in over 4 years, in order for everyone to afford good service.

We have expanded our storage to 40,000 sq feet this season and will store all your boats, vehicles & toys.

History

Established in 1980.

Jim Stewart started Stewart’s Marine Repair in the Homewood High & Dry Marina in 1980. In 1998 he bought property at Donner Lake across from the public boat ramp with a dream of building a repair & storage facility. After 6 years of submitting plans, property improvements & waiting for the town to agree on the coding he sold the property. In 2008 he took on his long time employee Jay Smith as his partner and incorporated the business now known as Stewart’s Marine Service Inc. With their wives, Lindsay & Sue, Jim & Jay have kept improving and expanding the business including a 40,000 sq ft storage facility in Reno. Clean, dry, alarmed, up to codes & gated, the storage warehouse is available on a year round, seasonal or month to month basis. Stewart’s will transport your boat, RV, automobile or other toys from Truckee to the warehouse at no charge to you. We are excited to see what the next few years will bring.
