Majestic Heating & Ventilation

Lukas came to our cabin in Kingvale and was willing to work on an old propane heater. He made a trip to Reno to pick up a part and had it working the following morning. He was prompt, courteous, and tidy. I would definitely call him again.

Our boiler went out over Memorial Day weekend 2016. We were stuck without heat, or hot water while we were entertaining guests. Lucas came out on a Sunday and took a look at our situation. We ended up needing a new circuit board that took about a week to get, but in the meantime, Lucas was able to give us a temporary fix to our heating issues and helped us out immensely! I highly recommend Majestic and Lucas. Prompt response and great customer service!

Majestic Heating did a prompt and thorough job for us in replacing a suddenly broken heater. Justin and Josh did the installation and it was smooth. I SO appreciated that they got it done despite the late hour. I really like getting a call the next day to check and make sure everything was as expected. We recommend these guys.

Once again they helped my client out over the New Year Weekend. One of my clients houses froze as tenants left the water on and the heater decided to not work. They came out in 2 days and fixed it. They are the best… great service.

Five stars here. When your furnace dies Thanksgiving it’s a disaster. Lucas went above and beyond. Drove to Sacramento to pick it up and then stayed till midnight till we had heat. Thank you!!! It purrs.

Lukas came out on Saturday morning the weekend after thanksgiving after our furnace stopped working. He was very friendly, easy to talked to, explained what he was doing, what was going on and checked on everything before determining the damper was not operating properly. Also he indicated some other things with our heating system that could be modified that are simple fixes, but would help the furnace operate better. Would 100% recommend using them. They for sure know what they are talking about, highly knowledgable, friendly, and a great local small business. Thanks Lukas!

Called around, only Majestic was willing to work on our diesel-​fired heater. JJ quickly diagnosed the problem, they ordered the right replacement board, and Lukas made time for an evening install once it arrived. It was 15 degrees a few nights ago and our place was toasty warm.

Majestic has really helped us twice when we had our furnace go out. Lucas came at 5 on Friday, diagnosed the problem and is fixing it asap. Trustworthy, dependable and fairly priced.

I called Lucas at Majestic to do a) annual service on my heating system and b) check the airflow to the house. This was back around Sept 1^st. He said he would do the service call around ⁹⁄₁₀ and get me a quote for the airflow fix. I never heard from him if he went to the house. I called/​texed his office and Lucus after ⁹⁄₁₅ they said they would get out there. They didn’t. I called again the 25^th and again go the story they would go to the house and they never have gone out. When I text him now he does not respond.
I imagine he does good work if he shows up. I would just appreciate some response and either do the work or tell me he can;t so I can find another company.

I can’t say enough about this team. Our 22 year old Ruud furnace began acting up with fan failure. Majestic’s tech, Ricky, came out and explained that the fan switch could be bad but that would be $ 400 to fix. He explained that 22 years is a long life for a furnace and that it may not be worth it to replace an expensive switch. We thanked him and after confirming that this furnace had already given us a long life but was due for a replacement we began phoning around for bids. We quickly found out that very few heating companies would even do the job because our crawl space is so small. Furthermore, the job couldn’t be scheduled for months by their competitors. Majestic was willing to take on the job at a fixed rate regardless of the space and potentially complicated ducting. They installed the new furnace in a very timely fashion which involved enlarging the entry to the crawl space which they repaired in a very professional fashion. Then they walked through the permit process with no hitches despite our having a complicated duct system. Mike, Lucas, Ricky, JJ, and the whole Majestic Team are terrific!

Look no further! These guys are amazing! I challenged them to put in a complete brand new furnace system in our Tahoe house before Thanksgiving. They had only a week and at the end of it we had a warm and toasty family holiday with lots of heat! And believe me when I say the system looks badass — a small system tucked in perfectly in our garage without loosing any of the floor space. The craftsmanship was superb and we can now turn on heat wirelessly en route. Thank you Majestic. You have our highest respect and gratitude.

Believe the 5 star reviews. These guys are great. I have a second home in Tahoe Donner. Just before leaving for home my furnace started making a loud grinding noise. I figured for sure it was going to be a $ 600
plus repair. I called Majestic the next day from my home 300 miles away. They sent someone out that day and he fixed the furnace. The problem? Two loose screws. I could hear it in his voice that he was happy to give me the good news. He could have told me anything and beng 300 miles away what could I do? I thanked him and told him he is an honest man.

I arrived at our Tahoe house at 6:00pm on a Friday. The house had been vacant since October. I immediately discovered the furnace had malfunctioned, and the house was 33° inside. Lucas couldn’t come out until Monday, but he took the time at 9:00pm to give me phone support, and walk me through a series of tests to diagnose the problem, and we successfully got the furnace working. Needless to say, I am having Majestic come out Monday for the proper repair. 5 stars to Majestic!

I called Majestic to come and service the furnace at my new house up in Tahoe. Chris arrived on schedule and quickly diagnosed that the heat exchanger was cracked (which as you can imagine is kinda dangerous). He was able to explain to me in straight forward simple english what was going on. Needless to say, I had to kiss goodbye to that 22 year old furnace.
This is when Majestic came into their own… I had family coming up in less than 2 days time. All I had to heat the house was a wood burning stove… Typical! I explained my dilemma to Lucius & Chris over the phone. They bent over backwards to find a replacement furnace the following day. They arrived at 8pm on Friday night and stayed till well after 11pm removing the old furnace and fitting the new one. I couldn’t have asked for better service. Majestic really care about the customer experience. They left my garage cleaner than when they arrived! Prices were very reasonable too. No complaints at all. The new furnace is quieter and way more efficient. Perfect!
