I have a long, steep driveway that can be brutal in winter. Two cars with 4×4 and a trailer got stuck and couldn’t get out. Another tow company came and wouldn’t even try (most tow companies in Truckee don’t have 4×4 tow trucks?) Dependable came with a 4×4 flatbed with chains. Didn’t blink. No issue. No hassle. I was truly grateful. Worth every penny. And the young man they sent was professional and polite.

Tow my companies truck and trailer then moved it without permission to a separate lot and refused to give location as to where the trailer was at so another driver could continue moving load. The night dispatcher was extremely rude. If your a truck driver in need of tow stay away.

GPS led me up to an iced road on Tahoe Donner and my chains broke so my FWD car couldn’t get any traction. Upon calling dependable tow, they sent up a truck ASAP within 40 min and got my mini van on the flat bed tow truck and took us down the mountain. Scary moment for me and my family but glad that this tow company was able to get us out of a bad situation. For those going to Tahoe, beware of Skislope Way on Tahoe Donner. Your GPS may even lead you up there with directions to the ski resort, but verify the route with the locals. You DO NOT want to be up there during a snow storm. We were lucky it was clear skies, but the cold wind was still quite intense.

Watch out for this company. They are the worst of the worst if they tow and stow your vehicle. We told them we were going to report them to consumer affairs and they just smiled and said go ahead people report them 2 or 3 times a year.

Prompt service to Tahoe Donner, driver was very knowledgable and knew the best way to get my car out of a bad situation with rocks, trees and a drop off without any damage to the vehicle. I’d call them again if ever I get stuck in the snow again.
