I have gone to Unger Eye Care for 2 or 3 years now, and have always had a good experience. I have waited for a short while, but not too long. The doctor and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They aren’t the cheapest around, but you believe they care about your eye health, and I like that about them. I definitely recommend them.

Unger Eye Care has friendly staff and knowledgeable doctors, but there are two things wrong. First — they are running horrendously late every time we go there. I’ve never had to wait less than 30 minutes, and I have waited as long as 1 ½ hours. Secondly, I feel like you are nickel and dimed the whole time you are there — do you want this state of the art eye test? Yes, well it’s $ 27 and not covered by insurance. Do you want this state of art map of your retina? Yes, well it’s $ 39 and not covered by insurance. I have learned to get a print out of my prescription and then go to an eyewear outlet or order them online, though, because their frames and lenses are really high.
