Close to home and been going there for probably close to a dozen years. Staff are, for the most part, friendly and helpful.
It is much older and smaller than many of the other Y branches in the region so it has a cozy feel. The pool isn’t regulation size and the there is neither handicap access nor an elevator.
The members are friendly and respectful of each other. Around mid-​morning, a lot of older people use the facility, usually taking part in swimming classes, pilates, cardio equipment, or just visiting in the lobby with some coffee.
This Y is I believe the only branch with racquetball courts, which are hard to find these days and greatly appreciated. The sauna is nice and the steam room is, ahem, intense so brace yourself!
