Hi! I’m Tina and my husband and I own The Greener Cleaner. I met the love of my life, Mike, in 2005. He had owned a carpet cleaning company for several years when we met. We married a few years later.

Soon after, we were beyond excited to learn that we were expecting our first child-​a girl! We immediately wanted to make sure we did everything right for our daughter, landing me in front of my computer doing research on carpet cleaning. After hours of research (ok, maybe weeks), I was sickened by what I found. Typical carpet cleaning chemicals included some pretty scary ingredients: VOC’s, phosphates & pesticides. I told my husband it was time to talk!

After doing (even more) research, we implemented non-​toxic, eco friendly practices and The Greener Cleaner was born. We were pleasantly overwhelmed by the response we got from people like us who didn’t want their children or pets exposed to chemicals. Our family is very excited to offer yours exceptional service and unbeatable quality!

They were the nicest guys and they took the stains out of my furniture better than I predicted! I am very happy with them and I will be sure to call them again.

Second time using their services, and they are truly excellent. We have a multiple-​cat household with more accidents than I’d like to admit, and this carpet-​cleaning service really works as advertised. Better still, the employees are courteous, professional, and punctual.
They’re busy, so it can take a few weeks to schedule an appointment, but I can recommend them with zero reservations.

If I could, I’d give Greener Cleaner six stars. They’re that good. They came to my house today on VERY short notice to clean a carpet covered in dog diarrhea. The woman who took my call was sweet and thoughtful. The techs were extremely (and genuinely) pleasant, courteous and kind, and careful with furnishings and knic-​knacks. The carpet looks terrific and the odor is gone. The price was very reasonable. I won’t hesitate to call Greener Cleaner the next time I need carpets cleaned. A GREAT COMPANY.

Wonderful company that I just used today and they did an outstanding job. They may cost a little more, but for good quality service, it is worth it, especially at your own home, I don’t want the cheapest, I want good value and they provided it. The two guys were very friendly, courteous and thoughtful and knew their carpet and how to care for it and offered great advise and suggestions. I would recommend them to anyone especially over some of the other companies out there that have questionable services.

Couldn’t be more impressed with this company. Not only were they incredibly punctual but the workers were quite kind and went the extra mile! We have 2 dogs and a four month old baby. We found the greener cleaner company threw here on Unilocal.We have used them several times and love the job they do. Mike and his partner do an amazing job and a lot of fun to talk while it’s getting done. I highly recommend them to anyone no matter how small or big your house is. Tina answering the phones is always polite and her soaps are amazing as well. Thanks again for the amazing job.

Found this company on Unilocal and based on reviews gave them a call. I am very happy I did! Making an appointment was very easy and the receptionist was very friendly. They came out, were extremely professional and friendly and did an excellent job! I love that they only use 3 ingredients in their natural cleaning solution which is perfect with 2 little ones at home. I will definitely be calling them again when needed!

Love this company! I have used them multiple times for carpet and upholstery cleaning. The first time I called them my dog had an accident on the carpet. I had another company come in and the stains came right back up when they were done. Not with Greener Cleaner, the carpet looked brand new. No smelly fumes and it dries quickly. The entire staff is extremely friendly and polite. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our carpeting was showing some signs of wear and tear so I did a web search of local companies and spoke with Tina at Greener Cleaner and I’m so glad I did.
Mike showed up with his truck based equipment right on time and even got an old rust stain out of my carpet that had I tried removing numerous times.
Mike was knowledgeable and very professional and the results are phenomenal. No odor or chemical smells. Nothing!
Definitely having these guys back in 6 months.

This company is amazing! I have never been so compelled to write a review until now. Mike, one of the owners, came to our house that we just purchased to give life to the gross carpet in the basement. We received a quote from Empire carpet to put new carpet in the family room (the only other room in the house with carpet). We saw how amazing the basement looked so I asked him to work his magic on the family room while telling him my concern with how much Empire was going to charge us. By the end of our talk the carpet looked amazing and we cancelled our order with Empire-​saving us $ 1700! He then had one of his employees call me today (Lee) to give me names of people to call for carpet and hardwood refinishing.
This company is top notch and they are so personal and make sure everything is perfect for you. We will use them again and again and recommend to everyone we know! Thank you!

I found The Greener Cleaner on Angie’s List — finally that list paid off. This company is not the cheapest and not the most expensive — what they are is a great value accompanied by great customer service doing a very good job. I have a lighter burber carpet throughout my main and upper floors and it looks new again. The guys were timely, professional and efficient. I will definitely use them again.
Bonus: no chemical odor, pet safe, dries quickly.

These guys are amazing!
First, the company was very easy to work with on scheduling. I have a pretty hectic work schedule, and they set up an evening appointment window for me, and emailed me to let me know a more specific time that afternoon.
Second, their work was awesome. I could see an immediate difference in our carpets. We’ve just moved into a new home, and I knew they had not been done in a while — when you saw their clean versus what we had, it was night and day, and I was so glad I’d called them. They were also done in about thirty minutes — very efficient, cleaned up any water drips from the floor, and it smells so much better!
Third, their prices were incredibly reasonable, and I really appreciate that they use non-​toxic products, which work better than many of the other methods and products I’ve seen. They took payment by card, and emailed me my invoice before they left.
AND, they were the nicest people ever during their visit. They were so friendly, and so sweet to my dog, which is always wonderful to see. I plan to use call them again when it is time for more carpet cleaning, and after our furniture is delivered for upholstery. I am new to Michigan, and these folks give it a great name! :)
