History

Established in 2011.

Andy James of Rensselaer Honda purchased the site at 805 Hoosick Road (formerly a Chrysler, Jeep, Subaru Dealership) in 2010. We officially opened for business in 2011 as Simply Better Auto Center and Changed the name to Simply Better Auto in January, 2014. We started out mostly focusing on hard to finance clients and have since expanded to be able to provided financing for a wide range of customers ranging from Subprime to Prime. As we continue to grow we have added many financial lending institutions allowing us to provide the best rates to our customers from as low as 1.75%. We take pride in only dealing with the best lenders that help our customers grow their credit history. We are now able to say we can get a loan to more than 98% of the people that we serve. We enjoy what we do, and will work hard to get you the best vehicle at the best rate! Shawn started out selling BMW’s right out of college in 1995. He has since sold and managed at a number of major brands including Lexus, Honda, Ford, and Hyundai. Shawn is now working as the Sales and Finance Manager here at Simply Better Auto and would be grateful to help anyone looking to upgrade their current vehicle.
