I agree with the above comments. I called for my final payment and found out they refused my previous month’s payment. No contact no reason other than I was the #$@% person who had my *$&#^*# screwed up. I was told they will not help me figure out who I had to talk to to straighten this out. Now I am getting calls left in my voice mail calling me names from them. In my opinion this is totally uncalled for! I have ONE payment left and now they will not let me make it unless I make two payments… one of which I made last month but they decided to hold the check for unknown reasons which I was told was none of my business!
I am sure this is exactly what and how they want to be viewed as.

This is the absolute worst debt collector I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They work on their own agenda, which, I completely can understand and respect. But they’ve over-​drawn my money by $ 300. It took them 3 weeks to get $ 74 to me, and it’s already been 2 since they took over $ 200 from me that they weren’t entitled to in the first place.
I am absolutely disgusted with how this office is run. I never can talk to the same person, I’ve gotten the run around about my account and they are just absolutely ruthless. The Customer Serivice Reps are incredibly rude and some even sound uneducated.
If you are even ONE day behind on a payment, they send a garnishment request out the next day. There is no breathing room and there is «nothing they can do to stop it».
I refuse to EVER use Capitol One again, since they are the jackasses that hired this God-​awful law firm.
Once I get my SECOND refund back, I will be so happy to never have to deal with these people ever again.
