I’m not quite sure how this Payless has managed to stay in business for so long.
Pluses: The staff was super-​friendly and cheerful when my mom and I visited.
Negatives: As mentioned by a previous reviewer, this store is TINY, and as such, their inventory is astonishingly lacking. We walked in looking for a pair of red closed-​toe pumps for my mom and maybe something fun for me, and walked out LITERALLY five minutes later. That’s all the time it took.
Hands-​down, the friendliness of the staff is the only thing this location has going for it.

Lorton, VA
This was one of the smallest Payless stores I have ever been in. I was trying to find some shoes I had seen online… and they didn’t have ANY of them. The worker was nice enough, offering to find the shoe in a smaller size (just to see if they had it) so she could then see if other stores in the area might have them. Unfortunately they didn’t. I found the shoes using my phone and she did look them up and NO stores carry them. Bummer. So, 1 star for selection and 4 stars for service equals 2.5, and I’m erring on the lower side.
