I love this Lush store. Visited this location multiple times and the staff here are so helpful and welcoming. Definitely returning back to buy more bath bombs

I’m super pleased with my experience at this LUSH location. I browsed with ease and if I had any questions, there was always someone nearby to share a little product insight. A staff member even massaged a sample of a foot rub on my hand! (not so hard next time, the skin on the hands isn’t as tough as the feet! hehe). Great product! I bought 3.
Overall, I’m impressed with LUSH’s variety of homemade cosmetics. My favorites have to be the jasmine scented shampoo bar (you have to try it once, there’s nothing quite like it. it’s literally a bar of soap you rub on your head a few times to form a familiar soapy froth.) My other favorite is the sea salt scrub. My skin radiates after using it.
Still hesitant? If you’re new to LUSH, take your time and try out one of their bath bombs. It’ll be a $ 4 – 9 purchase that soaks away any stress through a colorful and fragrant bath. Candles not included. (look at their website for pricing information).
All in all, I would honestly use more of LUSH’s lotions and soaps if they weren’t so pricey. I’ve been frequenting Sephora instead for facial cosmetics that cater better to eczema and dry skin. Simply put, for the same amount of money Sephora’s cosmetics last longer for the same price. But all the while… Lush offers such a eco-​friendly approach to their line that it’s hard to pass up.

Let me start this review by saying I love lush. I have been a big fan for over a decade.
Which is why it pains me to even write this review, but I can’t shop at this location. Probably the worst customer experience ever. If it was one time, I wouldn’t write this. If it was maybe three times I would consider staying mum. But I have tried coming here six times! I also understand if they are busy.
This last Saturday was my last straw though. I noticed the staff was busy helping others so I waited in a line of sorts. I caught the staff member’s attention, who could see I was waiting to talk to her. After she was done talking she walks away, as I was trying to say «excuse me» and goes to help someone else who wasn’t even waiting to talk to anyone who had just come through the door. Not to mention I couldn’t get any of the other 6 staff members help, so I walked out without buying anything.
Normally at Lush in NYC they are so helpful and would give me tons of fun tips and help me no matter how busy they were. Or at least greet you and tell you they will be with you in a moment.
My cousin also experienced the same treatment the last few times she came here as well. Shape up Lush Somerset. I now plan on finding another location to shop at even if it is inconvenient.

Oh my Lush! Where have you been my whole life? First off I want to say thumbs up for being animal lovers and recycling! Secondly I love that everything is hand made and the natural ingredients are amazing! What did I purchase? Well a friend of mine who suffers from psoriasis told me about the «dream cream» and told me it is slowly fading her marks and called it a miracle! Hey a dream and a miracle? Why not go out of my way to try this? I suffer through eczema so I felt the need to get this! And I am glad I did. The girl who helped me was Rachel, she was very informative and gave me samples for other sensitive skin friendly stuff! I’ll def be back LUSH!

What’s not to love about a place that sells good Karma (literally… Karma soap, karma bubble bar, karma perfume, etc… although to be a «karma karma karma chameleon» fan you most certainly have to enjoy the heady patchouli (and I DO! I now pronounce the «Lushy and her favorite Lush scent»)) Other than Karma I am a consummate devotee of the Jasmin Henna frizz ease for helping tame my thirsty mane and rendering a more luxurious tresses. If you dye your hair this product is a colour stripper. I freely confess I do not use their soaps. They smell great and when I give them as gifts people like them. Their henna is actually pretty good. Salt scrubs are all very good. Celestial face cream is heavenly (pun intended). Only mask my über sensitive face likes is Catastrophe (not sure what that says about me). Not a fan of the make-​up at all as I find it stays sticky. Bath bombs and bubble bars are the items I burn through most though. I use half a Karma or Amandopondo, etc in a bath (coz im worth it!). I come out happier, kinder to humanity, and in winter less reptilian.
Let’s be very clear about one thing here. Despite my love of the girlier scented products the products are NOT only for women. I’m not only talking the guys product line here. Foot scrub, many of the bath bombs, some of the soaps all completely unisex (chocolate scented bath stuff guys… hint… romantic bath for 2… she can’t resist chocolate! (if she can, how about cinnamon? Spicy!) Afterwards heat things up with a massage bar like Bewitched. ;-))

I read these reviews and I have to wonder — how do you people get out of a Lush store with $ 50, $ 60 purchases?! Someone please teach me. My first time, I walked out with over $ 1,000 worth of Lush stuff. The second time, it was about $ 500. This time I made a list and actually stuck to it — and still I couldn’t walk out with under $ 250. And that’s not counting online orders I place about every two weeks, in between store trips. But honestly, I don’t feel even one bit guilty, because Lush has simplified my life drastically. My skin will absolutely not accept anything else, and every penny spent on Lush is entirely worth it.

I keep thinking that if I buy Lush products I will look like a delicious faux cupcake and people will want to sniff me all day. I do buy their stuff, and I do smell nice. Well, I think I do. I love it so. I think it.‘s the cleverest of all beauty products. I bought a «gorilla perfume» stick for $ 8! I have no idea why it’s «gorilla.» I think someone kinda daft meant to mean «guerilla.» I don’t know. But cheers to the guy who posted that he went in and ate soap. I get it.

Damn you, Lush. I needed that half of my pay cheque for real food.
A first timer could mistake Lush for some kind of elaborate hipster bakery where the food is made to resemble cosmetics. One look at the huge chocolate slabs on a butcher block table and frosted cupcakes piled in a heap could lead you in that direction. Pick up a slab of something wrapped in butcher-​style saran wrap, flip it over, and there’s a sticker with weight, price per pound, and a description.
But I’ve been going to Lush for years. I know better. Their sneaky supermarket disguise of glorious bath products won’t take me by surprise.
Certainly most of their products look and smell good enough to eat. Strawberry bliss in the middle of the summer for a gelatin soap is nearly enough to push me over the edge. I’ve buried my hands in thick foot creams and facial washes with the texture, consistency, and taste of a decadent pudding. Yes, Lush intends you to savour their products with a bit of lipsmacking appreciation too. No one’s going to complain much if you do.
Really, though, my passion lies in the bath bombs. A bath bomb is carbonate wrapped around bits of petal or herbs, a crackle of aromatherapy oils, and the secret delight of fizz and explosive bubbling away in your bathtub like a cauldron. The surest way to relax and come out soft is a bomb. My favourite is the cherry blossom, orange a close second. Forget therapy or a massage, throw one of these into a soaker tub and declare yourself victor over the miseries of the world.
Better still, you can buy things in chosen weights. Half this here, a bit of that there, daubs and drips. It’s easy to become overwhelmed and your debit card suddenly registering $ 0.05 left in your account, but hey, all’s fair in beauty and war!
Lush’s one caveat — just a single problem — is the price. It ain’t cheap, though it’s worth every penny.

Love it! The best store ever. Now the only thing I use bath & body works for is for air fresheners!

Came here Saturday to buy a birthday gift for a girlfriend and it was Love at first Lush!
I was on my way to a birthday dinner and needed to pick something up quick. I’d been wanting to check this place out for a while so I seized the opportunity.
The store is small and a little overwhelming when you first walk in, but there’s no denying that the smell is amazing. I must have looked lost, because one of the salespeople swooped in and promptly rescued me, directing me to a wall of pre-​wrapped gift sets.
These little brightly colored bundles of joy are a God send if you need to pick something up on the way to a party. They look impressive and not half a$$ at all. Nobody will know that you procrastinated (again). They are also reasonably priced and there is a nice range to choose from.
I ended up going with a bath gift set that contained a bath bomb, a bubble bar, and a softening bath bar. Even through the wrapping, I could smell that there was something special inside.
In addition to the pleasant shopping experience, I love that all of the products are natural and hand made. I wish I’d had more time to browse and sniff. I will definitely be back to buy more gifts from here in the future… FOR MYSELF!

I discovered Lush while in Las Vegas, and since there isn’t a location where I live I wanted to visit this location while in town visiting family.
Lush is a bit pricey, there’s no doubt. You pay for the benefit of all natural and mostly vegan products. Their products really do what they say they do, and I feel confident that even though I’m spending a lot of money that I am getting what I pay for.
Definitely try out their bath bombs and bubble bars. You can get more than one bath out of some of them by breaking them in half or taking them out of the water before they completely dissolve. Your skin will be so soft and fragrant after a long bath when using them. They also have some very cute pre-​wrapped gifts that made for great Mother’s day gifts.
This location didn’t hover over me while I shopped like the Las Vegas location but were still friendly and available when I had questions. I look forward to my next splurge at Lush when I visit family in the area again. I’m definitely a fan!

The Better Half is now totally addicted to Lush. Of course the reservations I have all revolve around price.
The products do seem to do exactly what they say they do, and that’s probably what brings her back again and again. I just wish I felt better about the wallet busting prices. If she’s happy though, I’m probably better off not complaining.
If you like «Bath Stuff» and are tired of your old store, give Lush a try.

I love Lush. I am a natural product junkie… okay, maybe just a product junkie… but you catch my drift!
As soon as you walk in, you are greeted warmly — no matter how busy they are. Employees are well versed on products and ingredients. You always walk out of here with great samples! Go for one of their massage bars or bath bombs — they are amazing! I will always be a fan of this place. I loved it in London, so glad it’s here!

I tried the honey soap. Like, in my mouth. I couldn’t help it. It tasted like honey but also poison.
The guy who worked here caught me and said «It’s okay dude, I’ve done it too.»

Finally! My Lush review. I stopped in here a while back to pick up a gift for a friend and I have to say that some of the stuff in this store looks delicious LOL.
I actually mistook some stuff for food. All of their products are chemical free and they seem to work really well.
I actually tired to sea weed soap and i’d definitely recommend this store to anyone.

Thanks to your glowing reviews of Lush my wallet is $ 50 lighter. I entered intending to buy some bath bombs. I left with lotion, body scrub, a face mask and 5 ½ bath bombs. I got hooked up with free samples (hence the ½ a bath bomb) and got to deal with really nice, cool, not super pushy staff.
The only thing I can think of that could make the experience a wee bit better is labeling the bath bombs when they put it in the bag. That way I know which ones are my favorites.
Also, right now they are having a buy a $ 40 kit and get a $ 20 kit for free! Sweet!

I honestly don’t know what I could write about LUSH that hasn’t already been said.
They have all natural, chemical-​free and environmentally friendly products. Most would think that this would make their products ineffective, but you don’t need all of the chemicals in order for them to do their job.
Their prices are reasonable and comparable to most beauty products. Some stuff is a little on the pricey side, but it’s generally worth it, so I don’t think twice.
Their staff is always friendly, and willing to help direct you in the right direction if necessary. Everyone I have encountered has been knowledgeable and helpful.
Everything smells so yummy, yet it’s not too overpowering or fake smelling. Once you find the right products you will be addicted!

Complaining about having to choose between two Lush stores in easy driving distance is a bit like complaining that my tropical beach is too sunny and warm.
I’m what Lush would qualify as a «heavy user». I have a significant stash of bath bombs, lotions, potions and other products, and tend to evangelize the Good Word of Lush to anyone who will listen.
The products themselves are pricey, yes — but they also last considerably longer than less potent products, are ethically produced and most importantly, work. I have famously umanageable thick & wavy hair, but thanks to their shampoo Big, I’m quite happy with my hair these days.
As for the Lush store itself, it is well stocked and the employees and incredibly well educated on their product. They have a fresh-​mask section, and a great selection of gift boxes.
The only small criticism I would offer is that the Somerset store is not quite as free with the samples as other stores, but given the quality of their stock and friendliness of their employees, it’s easy to overlook.
If you choose to go to the Lush store in the nearby Lakeside Macy’s, you’ll find an equally wonderful staff who are eager to sample out products to customers if you ask. However, since they lack refrigeration at this location, they can’t offer fresh masks.
Between the two, my wallet can make its regular donation to Lush with ease.

So, the first time I ventured into Lush in the Somerset Collection my only intention was to browse. Well, browsing quickly turned into dropping about 60 bucks on their wonderful body products.
Priding themselves on using natural ingredients like mint, honey, oats, banana, and more, Lush offers some of the best natural body products for the price. The store is stocked with everything from bar soaps (which they will hand make for you) to shampoos, face scrubs, and body wash and shaving creams.
And just as rad as the products at Lush is the awesome staff. They are always friendly, helpful and never pushy. It’s a same that nowadays as a shopper you get excited when you receive average customer service. Lush definitely goes above and beyond ensure a great shopping experience. I’m so happy that Lush has come to Somerset! Everyone (guys too) who loves to pamper their skin should rush to Lush. Their handmade body products are made with natural oils and ingredients to indulge your senses and soothe your skin.
I lean towards their bath bombs (Sex Bomb is my favorite) and bubble bars (Pop in the Bath). They smell so nice and the scent lingers in the bathroom for a long time. Warning: Some of the bath bombs have glitter, flower buds or confetti which can make a mess. Put these bombs in a knee high or the like before dropping in your tub.
Now (the end of the year) is a great time for you to try Lush if you’ve never been before. They are having a Clean Slate Sale. All soaps, bubble bars and bombs made before Dec. 1^st are buy one get TWO free! This is quite a deal as each piece is about $ 6 each! Other products are BOGO free.
Lush is strictly against animal testing and animal cruelty. Another great reason to shop here again and again!
