History
Established in 1973.
H&V Collision Center was founded in 1973 by Vartan Jerian, Sr. Our original 1,500-square-foot building on Oakwood Avenue in Troy was the place where our reputation for reliability and quality first began, and it remains our home today — though it has expanded by more than 10,000 feet, and it no longer has just two employees.
In the 1990s, Vartan Sr.‘s three sons, Vartan Jr., James and John, joined the operation, sparking a period of growth for H&V Collision Center. Our Troy location grew significantly, expanding our workspaces and growing our team. Our second location opened in Queensbury in 2008, and a third opened on Central Avenue in Colonie in 2010. Our fourth location, on Route 50 in Saratoga, opened in 2012.

H&V Collision Center has grown from a small shop in Troy to one of the leading collision repair companies in upstate New York by building customer confidence one vehicle at a time.
More than 35 years after H&V was founded, H&V continues to grow by focusing on the motto that has guided the company from the start: Quality on Time, Every Time. The focus on quality and customer satisfaction can be found at each of H&V’s three locations in Troy, Queensbury and Colonie.
In fact, many of H&V’s customers have been with us during the more than 35 years H&V has been in operation. H&V helps ensure customer satisfaction by using an independent survey system that provides customer feedback, with H&V receiving a 97.7 percent satisfaction rate. H&V also employs techniques that have reduced the turnaround for vehicle repairs well below the industry average.
H&V Collision was founded by Vartan Jerian Sr. in the early 1970s at the company’s home on Oakwood Avenue in Troy. Under Vartan Sr.‘s guidance,
