Established in 1983.
Dr. Allen Dunn is a native of Troy, Alabama. He started Family Eye Center in 1983. He has a committment to provide quality personalized eye care for your entire family. In 1998, Dr David Hamlin joined Family Eye Center. The doctors and staff strive to improve the quality of life and vision wellness through uncompromised service and state-of-the-art technology.

Business Owner
Dr. David Hamlin joined Family Eye Center in 1998 after graduating with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Prior to that, he attended Troy State University where he received his BS in biology in 1993.
As a professional, his activities and affiliations are numerous. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Alabama Optometric Association, Southern Council of Optometrists, and the Southeast Alabama Optometric Zone. In addition, he served on the Alabama Board of Optometry from 2003 – 2006. His interests include sports vision and dry eye treatment.
