Platation Oaks Apartments

Well, the list is long, but the short version is this: Don’t move here, the maintenance is terrible and you will need a lot of it. We lived here from 2006 – 2007 I think, and it was kinda a gold-​plated turd.
When we moved in, we noticed places in the tile that hadn’t had the corners put in. So, there was molding and a little spot around it with no tile. This is ok I guess but it certainly is a sign that their renovators have no idea what they’re doing.
An even better sign was when we went to turn on the master bath’s shower and they hadn’t connected the water before they sealed it up. So we didn’t have access to our master shower for about 2 months, while they got their «water guy» to cut a freaking hole in our wall and fix it.
Then, the roof leaked. We called maintenance about this about once a month. Nothing ever got fixed with regard to this. It got so bad that the texturing layer fell off of the ceiling and splattered all over the hearth area. We never go this fixed, and the splattered stuff stuck to the hearth for the rest of the time we lived there.
We cleaned the whole apartment, but left only the mess caused by the leaking ceiling. Of course we didn’t receive our deposit back.
When asked why we weren’t moving, my wife mentioned the ceiling leak that never got fixed and instead of apologizing, the owner called her a liar. A+ for effort buddy!
It was pretty enough though, the parts that were finished properly.
