History

Established in 1966.

Pondarosa Furniture was founded by Jack Nelson in 1966. We started in a 400sqft building which was expanded 3 times before moving to our permanent location at 628 Old Highway 24, Trinity AL. Pondarosa started as a furniture store then expanded to add a 25,000sqft indoor arena & western tack store in 1980. By 1991 the furniture business was booming so much that Mr. Nelson decided to close the arena & tack store to fully concentrate on furniture. In 2010 we once again had to add on to our growing business & added a 14,000sqft on site warehouse to help us better serve our customers. Our staff at Pondarosa Furniture would like to thank our customers for their support & helping us continue to grow!
