History
Established in 1924.
Anton & Anna Weber started Trinity Alps Resort in the 1920’s. In the early days there was an «American Plan», and guests of the resort could purchase a vacation with all meals included along with their rustic cabin on the banks of the beautiful Stuart Fork River in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. In the early days, the restaurant spanned the river, but the flood of 1955 washed away that part of the building. The original dining area alongside the river remains, and a beautiful deck was added overlooking the river for outside dining. In 2015 the deck was extended, and a play area for dogs and kids was added adjacent to the deck so that dogs didn’t have to stay in cars, and kids could let off steam while their parents enjoyed their dinner. The walls of the restaurant are lined with historical photos of the resort and restaurant.
