KFC

I know, I know… I should not eat KFC, but darn it, sometimes this little lady just wants a biscuit & some mashed potatoes & gravy that don’t cost a fortune and that I don’t have to make myself. KFC reminds me of my mom bringing home a bucket of chicken, and one does not turn one’s nose up when mom brings home a treat! :)
I probably come here 3 or 4 times a year, and while it’s not fancy, it’s definitely friendly. No surly staff or ‘tudes here. Stopped a few weekends and was actually commenting to my husband while we were eating about how insanely upbeat the staff was for 2 PM on a Saturday. Their $ 5 meals are a really nice value…3 chicken strips, mashed potatoes, biscuit, cookie & a drink! I took half home for a nice evening snack. My husband did one of the $ 5 meals with
