Jack Williams Tire and Auto Service Centers

Spent 1200 for 4 new tires. Go to pick up my car and there is a huge crack across the windshield. I inform them of this and was told, with no hesitation, that the crack was documented that it was there when I gave it to them. That is a crock of BS!!! The guy says, «See it’s right here» while pointing to some paper as if that’s clear and convincing evidence. However, if this was true, why wouldn’t they have made a point to make sure I was aware of this HUGE crack running across the windshield prior to doing any work just to cover themselves against any claim of liability? Why? Because the damage happened while in their care, and in an effort to hide responsibility they hastily added this note to my work order form after the damage had been done. The guy who I showed the damage to then looks at me with this quizzical look and says, «I don’t know what you want me to do». Then asks me if I have full coverage. When I replied that I do, he then just brushed off the whole incident by saying,“Then it should be covered.” He apologized and then walked away.
I should have known better than to come back here. Six months ago I got a flat tire from it being impaled by a nail. That was the ONLY damage to the otherwise fairly new tire. Roadside assistance put my spare on and I took the damaged tire to this Jack Williams to be repaired. No biggie, right? WRONG. Thirty minutes later I get a call in which I’m told that they are unable to repair the tire (which would have cost $ 20) but they can replace the tire for $ 275. I tell them, «No thanks. Just give me back the tire». Well, when I went to pick up the tire it took them nearly ten minutes to actually get it. I should have known something was up. When they finally did give me the tire there was a huge wide gash (about 2 inches long and half an inch thick) running along the side of the tire near the rim. They tried to tell me that I gave them the tire like that and that was the cause of my flat. UNBELIEVABLE!!! What would have been a simple fix now cost me over $ 200 for a brand new tire. That time though, I refused to purchase the tire from them and give them the satisfaction.
NEVER AGAIN WILL THESE PEOPLE GET MY BUSINESS!!!

Good, because Jack Williams wants it. They’re a bunch of friendly chaps, but I’ve gotten repairs (estimated at 2,000 $) for 1500 elsewhere. They seem to like overcharging for services.
My stepfather’s brakes in his van still aren’t fixed, even after bringing it to them several times for the exact same issue. They gave him a rental after the 5^th visit, but they remain fairly faulty. They will simply pass inspection, and that’s it. You can tell there’s still something off with them.
Won’t be returning to this shop.

I buy my tires here for several cars, and get occasional tire repairs done here as well. One of my cars requires a unique tire configuration (different sizes/can’t be rotated) and this is the only place I’ve ever taken it to that didn’t screw it up the first time.
The guys working the counter are pretty friendly and don’t treat you like you’re an idiot about cars. The free local shuttle service is very useful if you live or work around this neck of the woods. I prefer to do my own oil changes at home, but I think I’d trust these guys if I decided to pay someone to do it.
