Another great camping trip, staff is friendly and campground is always clean. Great pool and bounce pad for the kids along with clean cabins and a game room. Family really enjoys staying here.

We stayed here in a tent site for 3 nights. I would have preferred less light at night and the neighbor’s rooster was slightly annoying at 4:30 in the morning. The kids loved the pool and bouncy pillow! We were so busy with other things that we didn’t get time to enjoy the trails but it’s nice that they are there. The campground was clean and had plenty for the kids to do. The camp store had several useful items and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the WiFi to work in our tent but it is free near to the main building…

Made our reservation for a tent site on-line and checked in after dark. After setting up the tent by the light of our headlights, we realized that we could only see 10 feet or so beyond the tent and had no idea what surrounded us. We went to sleep that night wondering if we were in the heart of the woods or on the edge of a gravel pit. Sunrise brought a wonderful surprise. Our site was on the edge of a sharp drop off overlooking a beautiful wooded valley. The sites were very generous, heavily wooded and laid out thoughtfully to assure privacy. Washrooms were conveniently located and kept quite clean. In exploring the rest of the campground, we found that even the RV areas were wooded and as private as RV sites can be. The hookups were not crammed together, and they were set up so that the campers could angle away from each other if they choose. That’s something you don’t often see in ‘commercial’ campgrounds. The staff/owners were wonderful. Gracious, helpful and very pleasant. Oh, and the rates are great, too! It’s not as rustic or remote as staying in a state or national park, but for a commercial campground, this is as good as it gets!
