Bought two lovely Alsatian Riesling from them. Shipped THE SAME DAY. The shipment is well packed — the wines arrived safely and timely. All of these happened two days before New Year. Not many times I can say to myself the shipping fee well spent! Well done, Laurenti. Will order more from you from now!

A fairly basic liquor store run by a group of friendly, older gentlemen. The location is convenient to the Hamilton station for your last minute needs before training it to NYC.
My girls and I swung by on a whim for some reinforcements of the bubbly variety on a Sunday afternoon. In the chilled case, there was really only one acceptable prosecco option but they had loads of the cheap stuff. Beggars can’t be choosers! A-​OK.
EDIT: After reading through some of the other reviews, I was reminded about the sweet Sunday discount of 15% which we received on our bottle. Upgraded to Yay! I’m a fan.

I would direct Unilocalers to Rich W. ‘s review. It is pretty spot on. I do have 2 tips to add. 1) On Sunday’s they offer 15% off on 750 ml non sale wines. 2) In the back corner of the store there is a clearance section, all items here are $ 3.99. I won’t tell you exactly what they are, but there are a few incredible bargains.

They had «Riecine La Gioia Toscana-​2007» on their website, so I ordered it. Four stars for having it, even though it’s not cheap. It’s Christmas, and what’s not to like about a serving a bottle of wine with your family name «La Gioia» on the front?

Pretty good selection but wegmans, Glendale or canals prices are ALOT better. Maybe if you are buying 1 bottle you wouldn’t mind overpaying a few dollars but if you are buying more it would be worth taking a 5 minute drive and save yourself some money.

This is my local booze shop. They’ve a good selection of beers, and have all the necessary bottles of the hard stuff, and when I need beer or a bottle of vodka, I’m pretty safe in going there. However, unless it’s an emergency, I tend to go to Joe Canal’s for wine – not because Canal’s selection is bigger (although it is), but because the guys at Canal’s really know their wine and are great at helping you out if you’re in need of help selecting a bottle. They’ve got a decent selection of wine in the store, but I really can’t think of any one time where someone at Laurenti’s offered to help me when I was looking for a bottle of wine. Typically they’re all behind or around the counter talking about sports or disparaging the President. Let’s just say customer service isn’t the specialty of the house.
If you need a six-​pack, case or keg, you’re pretty safe. If you know your wines and can get by without assistance, then you’re also pretty safe. If you’re really not an expert in wine and need help finding that special bottle, then drive on by.

I love their beer & wine selection. Prices are competitive with the larger chains. Very good selection of craft beers.

i did over an hour of internet research to find a US vendor for Russian Horseradish-​infused vodka, so i ordered 2 bottles from them and paid to ship it across country as the arrival estimate was close enough to Xmas that the person i was gifting it to would still be in town (faster & cheaper than from Europe i figured). I set up the account so they have all of my information. Got the order confirmation email stating: «You will receive an email in the next few days to confirm shipment of your order. We will contact you if there is any problem with your order.» The next email i got a few days later was: «This email is to confirm your order number has been cancelled. This order will no longer be accessible in your Order History on your My Account page. Thanks again for shopping at lau​ren​ti​wines​.com» no explanation of why, there was no contacting me with any problem (and i did have to give them my phone# to create the online account with them). There WAS however a solicitation from them to review my great experience with them here on Unilocal with a link to this very page… bad ideas all around guys, WTF?

Terrible experience. They messed up my order and stuck me with shipping and restocking fees that ended up being almost $ 50. I wouldn’t care so much if it was my fault. Definitely won’t shop here again.

This is a landmark NJ wine shop — they have some of the hardest to find wine at all price ranges. They have hands on service they provide without getting lost in a warehouse style store. And yes, this is also a good stop for a 6pk — they carry a ton of craft beer. Artisanal wine & beer — can’t really ask for more!

Their website isn’t too bad, but the store is cramped and old. Prices are not even close to the Canal’s on Rt 1 (about a 2 mile drive away). Good for a quick six pack
