Maybe owner just got out of wrong side of bed, but he doesn’t seem like a very happy person. Not interested in my business either — a simple stereo hookup for which I already did most of the thinking. But the kid who actually installs stuff was nice, and the shop was tidy. I’m sure he does good work.

I came here a couple days before Christmas to get my alarm system checked out because I was told by another mechanic it might be interfering with my car starter. The man who runs this place could not have been more helpful and courteous. He looked over my car and called someone he knew in the area specializing in Subarus (J. Dimaggio’s Auto Service) and arranged for me to drop off my car there. By the end of the day, the owner of Electronic Environment and the mechanic he recommended me to solved the problem that has caused my car not to start reliably for over a year. Fixing this problem was the best gift I got for Christmas! Thank you!

STAY AWAY! Had a 9AM appt to drop my car to have my Satellite Radio installed… the owner had an attitude as soon as I arrived at 8:30AM as he was just opening. He had a Porche and a couple of Beamers in the garage and I tried to crack a joke about my Altima not belonging. his comment with a stone cold face was «Not only do you not belong. you are blocking the driveway!» and walked away. Okay! Thanks! You are in Lawrenceville buddy. not on Madison Ave. The place had two «driveways» with cars on both sides of a standard double door garage. Parking lot was a sardine can. not sure where he wanted me to park. He pointed to a spot that I was apparently supposed to have read his mind to park in — which blocked the other driveway.
He continued being rude/​dismissive/​unfriendly and generally uninterested as I initiated dialog about the job. We looked at the car and I realized i did not bring a brackets needed to attach the radio to the dash. I said, let me run home and grab them real quick. He said «I need this car at 9AM!» and walked away disgusted… it was 8:40AM and i literally lived 5 minutes from the shop. 10 minutes in and i had already had enough. Told him that he had a terrible attitude and told him I will go elsewhere. Dude might have done a nice job, but never got far.
Complete dick… who knows the dude might have been having some personal problems going on… but he def had some issues no doubt. You have to show a little more respect to a customer. not a way to treat a customer in a service industry.

I recently moved to the area from Hawaii. My truck was shipped here and ever since I got it back, I could not get the headrest Dvd’s to work.
I went to this shop. It was clean and nice. I was seen immediately.
The gentleman that helped me solved my problem within 5 minutes. Another company had told me that they wouldn’t even look at my truck unless I gave them $ 60+.
I am forever grateful.

I recently bought a keyless entry/​alarm for a Toyota Camry, and Electronic Environment installed it for me as one of Crutchfield’s InstallerNet locations (so you can get lifetime warranty service across the country). Vijay (the proprietor) installed it in three hours and explained everything clearly afterwards, hence my rating.
