Dairy King is the non-typical format for fast food. EVERY order is made to order, therefore nothing is sitting in a steamer waiting for you to order. You order it, we make it your way! Always top quality products used from daily fresh ground beef to make the juicy burgers to the whole white meat breast used for the chicken products-NEVER foamy formed chicken pieces. Local soft drink is SKI– «Clinton County Coffee» a fruity caffeinated drink that can be flavored with 1000’s of flavors. Dessert is definitely a must. Figure out your combination or choose from the combinations listed. Reduced-fat vanilla or chocolate and even fat-free orange sherbet. Menu variety matches everyone’s taste buds. Nothing like a DK anywhere! So if you are close, be certain to stop in for an amazing meal. Independently owned and locally owned– many times will see the owners working. History
Established in 1951.
Dairy King started in 1951 in Breese, IL and opened second location in 2010. Current owners purchased Dairy King in 1995 and transformed a two-walk up window restaurant to a two location destination for great food.

Michele M.
Business Owner
After Michele was working in St Louis for 11 years, Michele and Brad decided they want to own the little restaurant a block from their home and have Michele run the business. After realizing that people were wanting convenience and great quality food, the business has continued to grow into two locations with over 125 employees. Michele’s business background has been property, personnel and office management, so the combination of those and knowing what the customers wants plus the «build it, they will come» attitude has allowed Dairy King to be a regional favorite.
