I called about 7 different Locksmiths as well as my dealer and some Big Box stores to try and get a simple key made for my broken and very expensive Key Fob.
Everyone wanted to charge me in the range of 250.00 to do this. Somehow in my mind, I could not justify this as a practical investment for a simple key! I knew it HAD to somehow be less expensive, somewhere… somehow!
Tenacity tool over with a vengeance on my quest and I’m glad it did! Not only did I finally stumble across a little locksmith in Trenton that was able to cut my key AND program it at the very reasonable cost of 80.00, but Ed, the man I spoke with and who waited on me when I went in was a real gem.
From the conversation on the phone to seeing him in the shop He was the only one that said «oh yes, no problem, we can cut and program that for you», and he did it with a smile.
Thanks Ed and B & J team for saving me a couple cool hundred and for doing it with a smile!
