History

Established in 1987.

My name is Blair Hamilton. After graduating from the University of Florida, I worked at Busch Gardens as a Dancer and Entertainment Supervisor for six years. During that time I decided to start Blair Entertainment as a side business to book myself and my talented friends. Now days I specialize in the acts that I’m most involved in like the Hawaiian Show, Pony Rides, Petting Farm, Elvis Show and events that require multiple acts like Face Painters, Balloon Twisters, Jugglers, Stilt Walkers, Fortune Tellers, Hoop Girl, Caricature Artist, Snake Charmer, Dixieland Band and, more.

I grew up in Sarasota and have been in the Tampa Bay area since my parents move up here when I was 16. Over the years I have formed a great team of the best local artists working with me. Because of my years in the area and strong background in the entertainment business and arts, you can be sure that anyone I send will be presentable, professional, fun and, memorable. This is a picture of me with my Gypsy Cob, Ren, at a Fall Festival doing pony rides. Ren also performs a Comedy Trick Horse Show entitled ‘Rennie The Ramblin’ Rover.’ Ren works well for pony rides because he’s gentle enough for toddlers but strong enough to carry big kids, even Moms and Grandmothers! (We also have a ‘My Little Pony’ that works well for toddler parties).

For 6 years I worked as a Dancer and Entertainment Supervisor at Busch Gardens. On my time off, like all the other entertainers at Busch Gardens I would do what we called ‘outside gigs.’ These ‘gigs’ were normally booked by a few big talent agents in the Tampa Bay area. I got a little tired for waiting for the calls to come in and decided to try booking myself and created Blair Entertainment in 1987.

I perform in and am Show Captain for several shows.

I have been so very fortunate to be surrounded by extremely talented performing artists, who are my friends and co workers.
