Aloha Airporter and Shuttle Service, Inc.

Duke basically bends over backwards to help you and your family. He provides a free shuttle from the AMC Terminal to the lodge and makes sure you are set before his drivers leave.
I have dealt with Aloha transport on two occasions and he has worked hard to make sure we had transportation before hanging up. His prices are better than a taxi for a family of 6 and all our luggage!
He is knowledgable of Space Available flying and the rotators that come in and out of Travis, working with your schedule and transportation requirements.
If you are in the Sacramento area, make sure you call Duke first!

Duke is a great guy. Very timely and excellent customer service. Has Travis afb access, so very convenient for military.

Going from Travis to SFO is expensive. But there doesn’t seem to be a much better way. Maybe a taxi to split the fare? but that will be pricey too and I was traveling solo. I switched my flight to leave from Sacramento which saved me $ 60 of the shuttle fare. Anyway, Duke was pretty spot on. He can get on base and get you where you need to go.

He is not kidding about his fare — late last night, «Duke» only charged a $ 20 flat rate, to take 4 of us space-​a strangers & tons of bags to two different hotels in Vacaville. So friendly & the go-​to expert on how the space-​a flights work themselves. Don’t hesitate to go w/​him. He’s a good guy — grew up on Travis AFB (military brat)

I had a very disappointing experience with this provider and would never do business with them ever again and highly advise others to be very careful. I had a scheduled pick up from Travis AFB at 0700 on the 17^th of October. I was called at 0645 on the 17^th of October and asked if I would access to a landline on base to call to to sign the driver onto the base as he was new. Finishing last minutes preparation and saying my goodbyes to my family I said that I could not and stressed that if I had known this information sooner, I may have been able to do so. I was told that it was fine and that Duke would take care of it but I would not be picked up until 0715. After two more calls, my pickup arrived at 0740. To my disbelief, I was driven to a gas station off base and Duke the driver removed my luggage from the Aloha Airporter vehicle and put them in a taxicab that was waiting. Having no clue what was going on, I exited the vehicle and asked the driver what was going on? I was then informed that he taxicab would take me to the airport. This for me was very unsettling considering this was not part of the arrangement made when scheduled. If my wife or other family members had been traveling and switched from a vehicle in a parking lot off base, I cannot imagine the stress. In my opinion this job should not have been taken if you could not get me to the airport. As military members, with so much at risk in today’s world this was a very scary situation. To make matters worse, no vehicle showed for the return portion of the trip. I called several times with no return calls before I had to call my wife to ask that she leave work to pick me up from the airport.

Friendly service, timely arrival, and reasonable prices. Used the services twice in 2 days. He even worked us in at 3 AM for a transport from the air terminal to Travis lodging when cab companies couldn’t get on post. Would definitely recommend.

I have not had the pleasure or horror of driving with this company but based on what I have seen on the road I will save my own life (and hopefully yours) and never hire this cab service. This morning as I was driving to work I was driving with the flow of traffic and will admit that a couple times I was following a little too close but backed off. As the road split in to two temporarily, I moved to the left lane and the driver of this company (who later claimed to be the owner) stayed in the right lane. The right lane was labeled as ending and warning drivers to merge left. As I continued to follow the flow of traffic the cab driver erratically cut his wheel to the left almost running into my car and then proceeded to cut me off. I blew my horn initially due to being scared and caught off guard. Then I continued to do so out of anger and disbelief! I realized that there was a phone number on the van so I called it to report the driver. When the phone was answered it was not a dispatcher so I proceeded to ask if he was the one who cut me off. He replied that he was and that I was «tailgating» him for a while. I told him that he cut me off and almost ran me off the road into on coming traffic and he said «you got what was coming to you.» I didn’t realize that following too close should be punishable by death or dismemberment. I told him that I planned to call the owner and he stated that he was the owner! I lived in Hawaii for 5 years and can tell you that this is NOT ALOHA! I will never use this cab company and encourage you not to either! This driver who is responsible for the lives of others while in his vehicle seems to be very aggressive and have very poor judgement. I gave one star because it wouldn’t let me post without one.

My mom and nephew needed a ride from TAFB to SFO at 3 am. I was hesitant to go with Aloha because there was only one review and it was from the owner. However, after reading some of the other place’s reviews, I decided it couldn’t be much worse than those experiences. Duke was very friendly on the phone, and easy to get ahold of. He was professional and arrived five minutes before he was due. I also like the flat rate for both people. That just seems like good business to me. My mom said that the ride to the airport couldn’t have been better and that she would highly recommend Aloha.
