FFS is great at providing lower quality services at higher or static costs. Food is descent, the facility is clean, it’s good time for the kids.

Haven’t been here in years since I lost my base privileges. But I was pleasantly surprised by the newly renovated Travis Bowling Alley! I grew up hanging out here when I was younger and loved coming here for $ 1.00 Bowling days over the summer. The renovations make it look more modern with new tables, couches, bar stools, ball racks, and a brand new kitchen. Love how they still kept the«Travis Bowl» insignia on the wall! Of course its been updated to the times of technology cuz the Bowling system is now Computer controlled with funny cartoon animations popping up after each time you bowl or to celebrate your Strike or Spare. Bowling is $ 2.50/person and shoe rental is $ 2.00. Be sure to tell them your EXACT shoe size cuz their shoes run big and you’ll most likely be one size smaller than your actual shoe size. Brownie points for the cool staff cuz they were able to accommodate our group despite the New Years bowling tournament going on. Their FOOD, especially the Bacon Cheeseburger, was just as simple and delicious as I remembered it! Kinda disappointed that Crisscut Fries were cut from their Menu, so ended up with a side order of their Crispy Onion Rings instead. They do offer pitchers of Beer such as Bud light and Corona and you’re only allowed to drink them at the Dining tables and NOT in the bowling area. Overall, the bowling alley is just as pleasant as I remembered and I had a blast bowling with my friends. Guess I’ll have to sucker my military friends into bringing me on base next time I wanna bowl here again! ;)

First time here with the kids and family. Was not to busy today. Got a lane right away. The snack bar has good bowling alley food. Country music playing over radio makes it feel like a true alley

Right across from the Westwood Inn. A good place to grab a bite to eat(and maybe bowl) if you don’t want to drive.

Decent place to bowl. Smaller then the usual bowling alleys around but this is also on base. They do $ 1 Bowling on certain times and days. May have stopped doing that now that summer is over but always ask! Also they do theme nights so if you are interested then check out the dates and times for that. I believe one is a ladies night! Overall experience has been great. They have been really nice and accommodating for my company and our clients. I work with autistic children so it can be a bit rough to keep these children centered and not affecting other peoples bowling games. However we have been lucky and they set us up so we are bit away from other people and they have never fussed. Check this place out! Great for children or hang out with friends. If you are not military then u may need a buddy with an ID but usually in the mornings they never really check.

I can only comment on the snack bar since I’ve gone here a few times while staying across the street at the WestWind Inn(the base hotel). It’s just a 3.7min walk from the front lobby across the busy wide street to the Travis Bowl. Lots of parking outside the bowling alley. I’ve had some of their food on occasion and what can you say about a bowling alley snack bar? If you bowl, then you know! ;) One thing though in the case you thought of buying a cold beer in a bottle or as a cup drink; they open the bottle for you and you cannot legally take that alcoholic drink outside the bowling alley to your room elsewhere or the inn across the street. Each time I have gone to the Travis Bowl, there’s been a lot of people bowling; I’ll just get my food and sit and watch the bowlers do their thang. You don’t need a military ID to bowl here though you DO need to know someone with a military ID to get onbase, or be active duty.

Super cheap and modern equipment. It’s on the base so you need to go with somebody in the military.

Place is clean and friendly people, but Friday nights is league night, so unless you want to wait for about an hour or so after you get there, go right a head. Oh and the food is delicious! We ordered the nachos and it was so big that I couldn’t even finish it, and I LOVETOEAT! Will do this again!

During the summer, you just can’t beat $ 1 bowling with friends and family. Everything is cheap and the food service is a plus!

Travis Bowl is a great place to go for cheap bowling, friendly service, and a good time. The shoes are average-ly smelly, and the person who runs the shoe rental is very nice. The lanes are clean and well kept, though the screens have cheesy images and switch sides sometimes, so pay attention.

We headed up to Travis Bowl to meet up with some friends for a bowling night. When we got there everyone was a bit empty on the tummy so we went straight to the Strike Zone Grill. We got an order of Nachos, Hot Dogs, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Cheeseburger, Criss Cut Fries and three beverages. The total was under twenty bucks wow! The food was pretty good and the fries rocked in taste and crispy goodness — yummy! After our meal we got our bowling shoes and hit the lanes. I haven’t bowled in quite a while but I somehow managed to pick up four strikes in a game not bad I guess. This place sported 32 lanes, LCD TVs and background music for your bowling pleasure. Thanks Will & Jane! Everyone had a great time…

Great fun for little money! $ 1 games before 2pm on Sundays… hell yea! Bowled 3 games in 2 ½ hours for 10 bucks, and that includes shoe rentals for 2! The only reason I couldn’t give them 5 stars was because of Jim, the guy behind the concession… he’s a douche. Matt wanted criss-cut fries, I wanted chili-cheese fries… so we ordered the fries with the chili and cheese on the side. We paid, sat down, looked at the receipt, and saw that the side of chili and side of cheese was actually MORE than the order of chili-cheese fries. So we go back up to the guy to see if we can get the chili cheese fries instead of the chili and cheese seperate… and he gives us this stupid look and says«uh-no». WOW dude. Thanks.

I used to think that Kentwig was all that the Northbay had to offer the world of Bowling. My girls informed me that I was wrong and mentioned a place called Stars. But really, why go anywere else when there are state of the art facilites right on the base? Everyone is so nice and friendly, the place is spotless and they always have some cool special going on! My money is staying at the base!
