Robinson Strong Cleaning

I had an appt set for Saturday morning to get an estimate for final clean out. She messaged me on Fri night stating that we need to reschedule for Sunday because something came up. I totally understand that things come up so I wasn’t bothered by it and was fine to reschedule. Then I HAD to message to confirm (which shouldn’t be my responsibility) that were planning to meet on sunday. NO RESPONSE. And no show! What an unprofessional business.

I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she stole my step stool :/
Also, my friend had her move out clean 2 days after us. Her home is 25 square feet SMALLER, and she was quoted $ 75 MORE than I was, so I’m not sure how that math works out.
So I hired Robinson Strong to do my move out clean. I let her know when she arrived that I purchased the Unilocal deal ($ 100 for $ 150 worth of services). She was visibly annoyed and I could tell that I was the first person to buy the deal because she wasn’t aware there was one. What it was for. Or how to redeem it. She spent a good amount of time texting after I told her and was visibly pissed.
The movers had already emptied the house, and we just had a few things we would be taking in the car with us on our move. One of those things was a step ladder we were using to fill nail holes.
It was in the living room when we left the house– we left to go to my mom’s shortly after she arrived. When we got back, she had moved everything that was in the living room. So my first assumption was she just moved it. But with just a few things around it became apparent very quickly that is was gone. When I asked her about it, she said she remembered seeing it and maybe she moved it. I asked if there was any way she accidentally took it home. She said she’d check right then and let me know. She didn’t get back to me. So the next day I asked if she had any luck, she said she didn’t have it.
In all fairness, a fellow military person could have entered my home, bypassed my brand new Mac Pro, and taken the stool, but in reality, the cleaning lady was annoyed that she was losing out on $ 50 with my Unilocal deal and stole it.

I hired Robinson Strong Cleaning to do a move-​out service cleaning via Thumbtack. I guess I should have been more thorough when looking at her reviews because the same thing happened to me as many other people. Scheduled the cleaning for a Sunday morning about two weeks ago and she never showed. I even texted her the night before to ask if she could come a half an hour later than we scheduled and she said yes, no problem will see you tomorrow. Waited for about 20 minutes and had to leave as I had somewhere to be. I tried calling but got no answer or call back. So strange and rude. Waste of time.

We have had her do weekly cleaning since the beginning of January. There is nothing better than coming home to a clean house after a long week of work. She is very affordable and reliable, and honestly don’t have any complaints. We went with recommendations of friends and I completely trust her in my home. She gives us more time to spend as a family. Thank you!!!

1÷30÷15: Not sure what happened. She seems to have vanished off the face of the Earth.
I hired her to do a deep cleaning for $ 60 (which was a special price she had for new clients). She came on time, brought her own supplies, and did a great job with the cleaning. She was very professional. I was ecstatic because I find it hard to find someone that cleans well and doesn’t charge a couple hundred dollars. Not to mention, she is a military spouse so I wanted to support the military community. I made an appointment for a maintenance cleaning a month later. She called me the day before to confirm my appointment and I told her I’d see her then.
My appointment was set for 0900. 0930 rolls around and I call her to make sure I didn’t get the time wrong. It goes straight to voicemail and I leave a message for her to call me back. 1100 rolls around and I’m still waiting for her… I decide to text her, but she doesn’t respond. Mind you, this is my day off from work and I had things to do, but decided to wait for her at home in case she shows up. 1200 rolls around and I give her another call, but she doesn’t answer. She never showed up that day despite 2 calls and 2 text messages. I gave her the benefit of doubt and thought «maybe she got into an accident» or «maybe she had a family emergency.» So the next day my roommate calls her and leaves a message on her voicemail. We wanted her to come back to clean because she did a good job… but she never returned any of our calls. It’s been more than a week.
No call back to apologize that she had an emergency and missed our appointment. No courtesy call to cancel because something came up. NOTHING… I figured if you really did have an emergency and value your business, you would call/​text your clients to apologize for being a no-​show.
I think she may have been abducted by aliens or she just does a crappy job at running a business.
Not to mention another reviewer warned everyone that her friend’s will attack you online. I hope this isn’t the case because if you get a shitty review, it’s because you have a shitty business — No sugar coating, it’s reality and that’s how business goes.

I posted this exact same review on her FB page and was just notified today it had been removed for violating their policy. So my review was removed for being honest… Interesting.
I no longer trust FB reviews because the business owner can report bad reviews and have it removed. If you look at her FB reviews, she looks stellar and that’s probably because she reports bad reviews to be removed.
I told her she just needs to be accountable and own up to her mistake instead of removing bad, legitimate reviews. At least apologize to your clients and try to improve your issue. I’m not trying to ruin her business, but prevent other clients from going through the same inconvenience I did.

Thank God for Unilocal!Especially since the owner of this business reports you on FB if you give her a nasty review. She can’t touch this review here! So here’s my story… It’s funny because 2 days before the no show/​no call/won’t answer our calls I was singing her praises and giving out her info… then she disappeared. I can’t refer someone with a clear conscience who deserts me. We always have word of mouth… you can’t do this to customers and maintain a successful business.

It seems they lack communication skills. When I voiced my opinion, this business went about sending friends to online attack but the owner themselves seemed intent on making things better. I love supporting my own military businesses but I never even had a chance to review their physical services which I do hear is great. A company should not be based off of text message. And even that was like pulling teeth. Very unprofessional. Never seen anything like this. Trying a different company.
