History
Established in 1947.
United Way has been serving Northwest Michigan for 64 years. We raise money through workplace giving campaigns and donations from our friends and neighbors. We do not have partner agencies, which means that any 501©3 agency who requests funding must apply for it each year.
We also have a volunteer center that serves as a clearinghouse for volunteers. We actively recruit volunteers of all ages and help match them with agencies who need volunteer help.
