Established in 2009.

We opened April 1, 2009 in a small building near Chums Corner in Traverse City. We quickly outgrew the place and in December 2010 we moved ½ mile closer to Chums Corner into a 8,500 square foot building where we have room to move. We offer the largest selection of grow equipment and nutrients in Northern Michigan.

I was searching for a particular soil to start my vegetable seeds that I had read about in my Organic Gardening magazine and a search on the company’s website listed this as the only store in our area that carried it — so I marched down 31 to pick some up. I am glad I did! If you are an organic gardener they have everything you need here. I’m going to tell all of my neighbors about this place! They also carried the large bag of potting soil to my car so that I didn’t have to get dirty.
