The Rogue River Lodge… where history never tasted so good.

History

Established in 1937.

The Lodge was originally built in 1937 and Anne & Lee Kimball are the eighth owners of the property. It was one of the original dining lodges of the Rogue Valley and has a colorful history… hosting a number of famous actors such as Clark Gable and Ginger Rogers over the years, and being the destination location for many weddings, anniversaries, proms, etc.

After years of operation and falling into disrepair, the Kimballs took ownership in September 2009 and have completed an extensive renovation — preserving the historical feel of the architecture, while providng an updated but warm feel in the main dining room, a clubby cocktail bar on the main level, and a rustic volcanic rock lined Riverview Room cocktail lounge– all overloooking the Rogue River.

The Lodge reopened on August 18, 2010 and once again is the talk of the Valley… great good, wonderful ambiance and excellent service and voted by Jackson County Chamber of Commerce the 2012 Small Business Excellence Award.
