Specialties

We design, create and produce a beautiful finished portrait — not a digital file — so you will have a legacy for a lifetime. We create the beauty, the art and the life of you. A complimentary design consultation begins your experience with us. We photograph in studio, on location or in your home and create spontaneous moments with the mastery of our craft that result in images that make you laugh or cry — because we captured that look that is totally you. You will hold in your hands something that is totally unique and that captures your expressions and personality. We are one of very few certified professional photographers in the U.S. and we take our responsibilities very seriously to ensure that our clients receive the very best and creative portraits available. We continue to hone our craft through education, the finest equipment and cutting edge photographic sessions

History

Established in 1997.

After 10 years of a residential studio, Connie Barding, owner and photographer at The Photographic Art Studio set out to achieve a long term goal. To open up a small boutique style photography studio where she could give her clients a photographic experience of a lifetime. Her goal is to treat everyone as a unique individual with a unique personality and to create a portrait that is truly them. She contiunally strives to improve her skills through education and recently was awarded the prestigious designation as a Certified Professional Photographer. A designation achieved by less than 4000 professional photographers in the United States. Each year The Photographic Art Studio strives to be on the cutting edge of their craft and their art and are proud to have the priveldge to help their clients leave a legacy for their children through artfully crafted images.

Meet the Manager

Luisa P.

Manager

Luisa joined The Photographic Art Studio even before there was a retail location. A good friend and great supporter of Connie B (the owner) she quickly became the voice of the studio. You will love her calming and welcoming voice and her enthusiasm as she strives to make you feel at home. She is a creative and quirky photographer who enjoys thinking outside the box with seniors (although she hasn’t asked anyone to sit in front of a trash container yet — Connie has but the photo turned out great!)

Don’t be surprised if she does take a couch out to the railroad station to capture the «awesomeness» that is you. Together with Connie they can come up with some fantastical (our new word) ideas that will make your portraits one of kind and uniquely you.
