The guy who owns/​operates this place is awesome! I brought a coat in to be taken up and needed a RUSH job on it. I brought it in at the end of the day on Wednesday and was done before the pick up time on Friday. He did an amazing job, and wasn’t expensive considering I needed the job done ASAP! He was also very nice which is a plus!

The man that does the alterations here does great work and the price is reasonable. He took the hem up on my nice satin dress (for holiday party) for $ 20 and rushed it because I really needed it in less than 2 days. That may seem expensive but satin is difficult to work with; the cleaners in the same parking lot quoted me $ 30.

The job was well done. Time of delivery prompt. But the price is a lot. I left a pea coat for fixing the lining and they charged $ 40. I think it is a lot for a tear in the lining

This place is great. I needed my uniform taken in on the sides and shortened and he did an excellent job. Cheaper than the other store I use to take my stuff to and its close to home.

Wahoo! I met Adbul this week at Suit City and he did an awesome tailoring job on two pairs of pants that have been bothering me for a very long time. I don’t know the comparative prices around Tracy, but I don’t think I’d need to shop around after working with this place.

The guys here are very helpful and take pride in their work. It is rare to see this level of service and craftsmanship anymore.

Took my coat for to shorten and taper my sleeves and I must say it came out perfect. This will definitely be my place for all my tailoring needs.

Reasonable prices and quick turn around time!

I recently took a pair of pants in here because they were too long. They did a quality job, however their prices are a tad bit hire than the «going rate»
Would I go back? Sure, if I was in a pinch.
If it wasn’t for the slightly higher price I would have game them 5 stars.

I recently took some nice pants, dresses and jeans into Suit City to be altered and Saleem did an amazing job. The alterations look perfect! I had one dress with a complicated graphic print… he was able to alter the dress for me (down about 2 sizes) and the graphic print looks incredible… you would not even know that the dress was altered. And Saleem is very kind and a pleasure to work with.

Found this little shop because I needed a pair of jeans altered. Guy who helped me was pretty cool & he did a great job altering my jeans. Highly recommend this place.

I visit my family in Tracy pretty often when in the greater Tri Valley Area. Whenever I buy a new suit, I know exactly where to go to get it altered.
I was originally referred to Suit City by my cousin. I’ve had several suits, pants and shirts tailored by Suit City and Tailoring. Every piece was perfectly fitted for me, not to tight or loose, always comfortable. I also took a bunch of my older suits and had the outdated baggy jackets altered to European slim fit style.
The tailor, Saleem, is very kind and professional. He always meets my deadlines, and leaves me feeling like I got my money’s worth. I definitely recommend anyone that needs an piece clothing altered take their clothes to Suit City, you’ll be very happy you did!

I needed a dress altered and the owner was extremely professional and helpful. The alteration was very affordable and done in about one week. He did a terrific job on a delicate chiffon dress, so I highly recommend this shop for all your alterations needs, whether you’re a man or woman.

Need my military uniformed altered and this place got good reviews on Unilocal,so I figured, what the Heck. Was not disappointed at all. Meet the owner who was very knowledgeable of his craft and was very patient when I had to go through all the regulations with placement of items on my uniform. Price was cheaper then expected for having my jacket and pants altered but the work was exceptional and I am very happy with the result. When I need anything else altered, I am coming here.

I have been coming from Manteca to have my clothes altered since 2008! I have absolutely found a hidden gem in Tracy! Their work is exceptionally great and very professional. I have had many alterations including: jeans, summer dresses, a special occasion dress, and my husbands suit. All were done correctly, and fit great! They are very nice, and friendly. They are a bit on the higher price side, but well worth the money. I highly recommend them! I will never take my business anywhere else! It’s a bit out of my way but worth the drive!

Nice local business that is prompt with their service and has great quality work. I have used this business for alterations for pants and coats and they know their tailoring. Nice and clean work every single time. This is not your typical tailoring business from a dry cleaner. After alterations, they will even press your clothes to make sure it looks nice when you pick it up.
Work is ready when promised but they also provide flexibility if you need it sooner.
Why just 4 stars? It would be nicer to see a greater array of suits and pants to choose from when buying. Items are a bit pricier here than what you can get in other retail stores but this is a specialty store. Some of the alteration prices are just a tad bit high but they’re worth it for the work that they do. We can’t always get what we want and sometimes that comes with a price. Also, I wish they would do price breaks when you bring in multiple items to work on.

I love this place! Tailoring is inexpensive and the man that owns the place does a great job at what he does! His suits are great too, I’m planning on getting another in a couple weeks :)
